After a couple of years...Raziel
Bullshit.
Do I suppose to believe such "prophecy" from a blind woman?
I snorted after hearing what she said, it doesn't make any sense at all.
My mother gave me a stern look to keep my mouth shut, at the moment, an old woman they called 'Occulus' is here, talking to my mom.
I cannot hear them clearly because they seemed to be whispering with each other.
So I rise my from my seat and discreetly went out from the throne room.
The thing I love about this castle is the black walls seem to glimmer whenever the sun rays hits the stones.
It was like the whole castle is made by onyx. Irony to what my mom's title is.
The ice queen.
Shouldn't be her castle is made of ice?
"I don't know what you are laughing at, but you look like an idiot clapping your hands like a retarded seal." I turn to face him and grinned.
Ah yes, my favorite human I mean angel is here.
I pinch the bridge of my nose to stop myself from laughing "You are such a grump, Nuriel.
He shrugs "Where's Ira?"
"Throne room, talking to some old hag." I crinkled my nose when I remember that Oculus again.
He arches an eyebrow "Old hag?"
I nod "She calls herself 'Oculus', she gave some kind of nasty premonitions." I chuckled.
"The Oculus has never been wrong, Raziel. Her premonitions, most of them came true." I turn around to see my mother giving me a brooding stare.
I bring my head down in shame, I am talking ill about her people behind her back.
"Good day to you, your grace." I heard Nuriel said and mother gave him a warm smile.
It has known that when she met uncle Raphael, she changed a lot.
"Raziel." My head perked up when she called my name.
"Mother?"
She gave me a stern look "Meet me at the study. I have something to tell you." And after that, she left me with Nuriel.
I cannot help but to feel nervous. Yeah given, she looks so small and cute but she can snap someone's neck without batting an eye.
I nearly jumped in surprise when Nuriel places his hand on my shoulder, he gave me an "encouraging" grin "You better go now or else you will anger her." I scowl at him.
He just laugh at me as I choose to follow his advise and go after my mom.
---"Take a seat." I sat in front of her while she is sitting behind the desk.
The intensity of her stare makes me want to cower and hide, but I know better.
Even though I am her son, she is really unforgiving to anybody.
Now that puzzles me, who the hell is my real father? If he abandoned us, why mom doesn't hunted him down and get killed for revenge?
'I am your real dad, Raziel'
"Are you listening to me, Raziel?" I blink a couple of times until I realize that she is talking to me and I was zoning out.
Crap. What should I do.
"U-uhm.. W-what is it, mother?" I fiddle with the hem of my tunic nervously, my hands became sweaty and I feel like I will passed out in fear.
She sighs and massages her temple "I was asking you why you didn't believe the Oculus?"
I shrug "It doesn't make sense at all, how am I going to be tainted? I stay at Heaven and this palace is one of the safest place I know."
She lean back at her chair "The Oculus has never been wrong. Her prophecies are always real. Just like how your uncle Hellios betrayed me."
I frown "Betrayed you? I thought it was.."
"The story is different from the other's perspective, but I know the truth. He betrayed me for the throne." She said, coldly.
"But where is he now? Is he still alive?" I asked, I am dying to know if this uncle of mine is still existing.
From what Wasp told me, he is one of the coolest and funniest person he ever met.
But why does he betrayed mom for the throne? Ah yes. That's vampire monarchy to you.
"Who knows if he survived the fall and the multiple fatal wounds I gave him." She said, nonchalantly.
I blanches "You did what?"
She stand up and lean closer to me, smirking darkly "I behead my father and I nearly killed Hellios. It's a nice feeling, killing the man who violated me."
I feel like running away from this room when her presence became much darker and bloodier.
"O-okay enough with that talk mom. It's making me uncomfortable." I said, uneasily.
She sit back and crosses her leg "From now on, you will stay in Heaven and I will ask Raphael to keep an eye on you. You are also not allowed to go to Earth and I shall visit you from time to time. Understood?"
What?!
"But mom! You cannot just be a paranoid to what that old hag said!" I exclaimed.
This is so wrong, she cannot just confine me in Heaven.
She set her jaw hard "This is for your own good, Raziel. Don't argue with me, I am your mother."
I grit my teeth "I do respect you as my mother, but you just cannot immure me by the basis of that stupid premonition."
Her eyes narrow at me "My words is final, young man. No matter what you said, you are not allowed to leave Heaven or else I will ask the Scarlet Elite to raid every corner of the Earth to find you."
I blanches "You are going to use force on me? Your own son?"
"I will use every necessary action to keep you safe, Raziel. I know what's good for you, I am your mother." She said while her expression is getting softer.
I shake my head frustratingly and storm out of the room, I ignore her calls and slammed the door behind me.
While walking along the corridors, I saw Nuriel standing against the wall with his arms close against his chest.
He noticed me, his smile begin to fade when he saw my scowling face.
"So what happened?" I look over at him and casually said.
"Let's go to Croatia, I want to unwind."
Fuck warnings. I will do what I want.
