I entered Mal and Evie's room without knocking. "Kathy! What brings you here?" Evie asked cheerfully. "You could've knocked." Mal said in her usual rude tone. I groaned and stepped outside, closed the door and knocked three times before entering again. "Happy?" I asked the purple-haired girl. "Very." she stated, without glancing up from her drawing. "Can I crash here for a bit?" I questioned, looking at Evie. "Of course! Sit down." she replied, gesturing towards her bed. "So, what are you sewing?" I asked. "Oh, just a new dress, nothing special." Evie replied. "Cool." I mumbled. A rapid knock on the door interrupted the peaceful silence. "I'll get it." I reassured the girls. I got up and opened the door.
"Hey Jane...good to see you." I said with a fake smile. "Can I come in?" she asked in her anxious tone. I looked at Mal, who nodded. I stepped aside and Jane entered. "It didn't work!" she whined, staring at Mal. "What did she say?" the purple-haired girl asked. "Mom said: 'if a boy can't see the beauty within, he's not worth it.' Can you believe it? What world does she live in?!" Jane shouted as I sat down on Evie's bed again. "Auradon." Mal scoffed. "Mal, do you like?" Evie asked, holding up her dress. "Yeah. It's cute, brings out your eyes." she replied. "I know." Evie replied.
"I'll never get a boyfriend." Jane whined, sitting down next to me. I puffed out my cheeks and awkwardly petted her head. "Boyfriends...are overrated." Mal stated. "Someone please tell that to Irene." I muttered, making Mal laugh. "And how would you know, Mal? You've never had one." Evie sassed back. "Cause I don't need one, E!" she snapped back. "They're a waste of time." she added to Jane. "And they let you do all their work." I told the brunette. Suddenly, Evie gasped. "I forgot to do Chad's homework!" she exclaimed, getting up and grabbing a huge backpack. "Point proven." I said to Mal, who smirked.
Then, Lonnie entered the dorm as well. "By Aslan's mane, here we go." I breathed out, falling onto Evie's bed. "Hey guys! I'm Lonnie." she said. Mal looked at her confused. "My mom's Mulan?" she tried. Mal still stared at her confused while Evie grabbed Chad's homework. "No? Anyways...I LOVE what you've done with Jane's hair." In the meantime, Mal went back to drawing. "And I know you hate us-" Lonnie was interrupted by Mal. "Most of you. Kathy is pretty chill." she stated. "Thanks Mal." I said with a smile. Mal simply smirked.
"Okay, and...well...you're evil..." Lonnie continued. "But, do you think you could do mine?" she finished, holding her hair. "Why would I do that for you?" Mal asked her, looking up. "I'll pay you fifty dollars?" Lonnie proposed. "Take the money." I whispered. But Evie had already grabbed the purse with the money. "Good answer. I need to buy more materials." the blue-haired girl breathed out. "Let's see, I'm thinking we lose the bangs, maybe some layers and-" Lonnie giggled, cutting Evie off. "I want it cool. Like Mal's." the black-haired girl said.
Mal looked up in shock and Evie looked at Lonnie in disgust. "Really? The split ends too?" Evie sneered. I laughed, making Jane look at me weirdly. I coughed awkwardly. "Sorry." I muttered. Mal looked at Evie annoyed, while Evie shook the purse with money. The purple-haired girl groaned and rolled from her bed. She grabbed her spell book and sat on her knees on her bed.
"O-kay...Beware, for swear, replace the old with cool hair." Mal said. She closed the book and waved her finger. Lonnie's head moved with the motions and when her head came back up, her hair had grown and it was now ombre. She walked to the mirror in amazement. "I know, I know...it looks like a mop on your head. Let's cut it off, layer it..." Evie was cut off once again. Lonnie spun around to face her. "Nonononono! I love it!" she exclaimed. "You do?" Evie asked surprised, raising an eyebrow. "It's just..." I got up to see what Lonnie was going to do. She ripped her skirt, making a small slit! I widened my eyes, as did everyone else.
"Now I'm cool." Lonnie stated with a smile. "Like ice." Mal replied, hanging at the bedpost. Jane walked to the mirror and ripped a slit in her dress too. I laughed in surprise as Jane gasped. "What did I just do?!" she shouted. "Mom's gonna kill me!" Lonnie simply laughed while Jane was freaking out. "Did not see that one coming." I whispered to Mal. "Nor did I..." she muttered with an evil smile. Jane ran out of the room, clearly distressed. "I should probably go after her. Thanks again!" Lonnie shouted, running after Jane. "Hey Evie, are you okay? You seemed kinda disappointed when Lonnie turned you down." I questioned. "It's fine." she replied, slightly upset. "Well, you can do my hair sometime, if you want to?" I proposed. "Really?" Evie asked in surprise. "Yeah, I need a haircut before the coronation anyways, so...why not?" I told her. "Come back at nine. I'll have everything ready!" Evie exclaimed.
"Why are you doing all of this for us?" Mal asked me. "Sorry?" I replied. "You're so nice to us. Why?" she asked again. "Because you guys are pretty cool and a lot kinder than some princes and princesses here." I explained. "But you're a princess too. Why would you hang out with us 'villains'?" Mal continued. "What's life without a little mischief, ey?" I answered, grabbing my backpack. I walked out of the room. "See you at nine!" I yelled. "Bye!" Evie yelled back.
