"Really Melo?!" I yell as my brother violently shakes me to get me out of my bed. All I hear is a snicker and a "loser." Sounds about right.

"Mom told you to wake up literally ten minutes ago. She also said you're driving me today." He said with a smirk. 

"Fine, but no food or drinks in the car. You know this." I said and got up. I look at my phone to see ten messages from Eli. 

eli🤙🏼: broooo

eli🤙🏼: you up?

eli🤙🏼: dudeeee, new girl at school. extremely hot.

eli🤙🏼: your type. 

eli🤙🏼: tongue piercing too 

eli🤙🏼: she's from scottsdale arizona?

eli🤙🏼: she's a junior

eli🤙🏼: likes basketball ;)

eli🤙🏼: okay dude you dead? do i need to send a picture to wake u up?

eli🤙🏼: i texted melo, lazy ass. 

I laugh at his messages and continue on with my morning routine. I got done and decided to skip breakfast and forced Melo into my car. As soon as I started driving I automatically started thinking about this new girl Eli was talking about. I was wondering what she'd look like, if she'd like me and what I could get from her. I was  Liangelo Ball after all, what girl didn't want me?

As we pulled up to the school and Melo hopped out to greet his "friends," I went to my locker. Luckily for me, Eli was already at my locker waiting for me. 

"Man, she's fine." He says and I laugh.

"Then why don't you get at her?" I ask, knowing he wouldn't do it. 

"You know I'm trying to get at Mason Woods, no one else." He says and I smirk.

"This girl got you whipped, and y'all ain't even dating." I say, closing my locker after getting my books out.

"She's the most anazing girl ever, how could I not want her? Either way, I want an actual committed relationship. Maybe you should try and get in one too." He says and walks off to his class.

I roll my eyes and head off to my first class of the day, Chemistry. My mind wanders off to basketball practice tonight and random things. My attention span isn't very long. I get in the class early for once and sit in a seat in the back. There's a new girl talking to the teacher and I put the two and two together that she's the one Eli was talking about. Oh, and damn he was right.
