It's been two whole days since I kissed Erin, and I haven't been able to get her off of my mind. It was starting to show that I was into her, and I honestly didn't care. Why would I care? She's everything I want. I walk her to her classes, give her a ride to and from school, I try to spend every moment possible with her.
"You okay?" I hear Erin ask as she puts a reassuring hand on my shoulder. I slightly smile and wink at her.
"Just deep in thought about you." I say, taking her hand and pressing a light kiss on it. It's the most affection I've given to her outside of either of our houses and she blushes.
"You're quite cute, Liangelo. I have to give it to ya." She says and I chuckle. I stop dead in my tracks when Eli starts running down the hallway yelling something I couldn't quite understand.
"Can I go see what that's about?" I ask and Erin nods.
"Of course. I'm gonna go talk to Mason." She says and I nod. I walk over to Eli and he's smiling like a fool.
"What's that whole smiling like a fool face about?" I ask and he just laughs.
"I finally asked Mason out, and she said yes. Man, I'm so happy. What's new with you? We haven't talked in about two days." Eli says and I scratch the back of my neck.
"I'm glad we've got a free period right now." I say and Eli raises an eyebrow. Let's go to the weight room and talk. We make our way there slowly, and to my luck, it's PE for Erin.
"So what's up?" Eli asks and I can feel my cheeks becoming heated.
"I hate to say this, but you were right." I said and he laughs.
"I'm glad I'm right, but about what?" He says and I chuckle nervously. I begin to stare at Erin and he lets out an almost unaudible 'oh.' "You tryna cuff her or what?" He asks and I nod.
"I went hiking the other day and ran into her. We went on an ice cream run afterwards and I spilled my guts about why I'm such a douche. And honestly, it felt so nice getting it off of my chest. I walked her up to her front door likw a gentleman and ended up kissing her. Have no idea what caused me to do that but man, it was nice. Been spending every second possible with her since. Don't understand what this girl is doing to me bro." I say and he chuckles.
"Man, you gonna have it bad for that girl in no time. I'm just glad you're even considering cuffing someone." He says and I sigh.
"It scares me, but I'm willing to try it for her. She deserves it. Hell, she deserves way better than me, but I wanna be the best for her." I say and smile when she waves at me from across the gym. The teacher releases them to have a 'free day,' as she calls it and Erin makes her way over to us.
"Hey guys, hey Eli. Mason told me about you asking her out. Gotta say, she's very happy. Better treat her right." Erin says and Eli smiles widely.
"I plan to. She's such an amazing girl. I'm really glad she's mine." He says and Erin smiles.
"Hey beautiful." I say and Erin giggles and blushes.
"Hey. Do you guys mind if I hang? I legit have no friends in here and this teacher doesn't give a damn what we do." She says and I smile.
"I'm good with it, and girl of my bros automatically is good to hang with me." Eli says and I roll my eyes, knowing what he's trying to do.
Erin rests her head on my knee and I chuckle. This girl got me feelin' some type of way. I take out my phone, scrolling through instagram when I see a post from Erin from last night.
