"Where are you going?" I yell to Melo as he begins to walk out of the house. My dad and mom are out and I'm in charge of Melo.

"I'm going to walk to a freids house, we're gonna hoop. Dang man, get off my ass." Melo says and I roll my eyes.

"Don't get drunk, high, or have sex wherever you go. I've gotta be watching you and if that happened on my watch my ass would be done for." I say and roll my eyes.

Melo leaves and I get more comfortable, taking my shirt off. I decide to go fox some popcorn and watch some netflix as well. As soon as I put on some random horror movie, my mind starts to wander. I've been so obsessed with trying to get with Erin, but why? I get out my phone, thinking about texting her. I do it, but just for fun.

me: hey🙂

Erin🍑🤤: what do you want liangelo?

me: just wanted see how you are. can a guy not do that?

Erin🍑🤤: i'm just used to you always asking me to suck your dick so i'm used to that, but yeah you can

me: good. how are you?

Erin🍑🤤: i'm okay, you?

me: great actually, melo left and i'm home alone and relaxing.

Erin🍑🤤: oh that's nice, well i gotta go. i have more homework to do

me: sounds good, talk to ya later

I begin to drift off a few minutes after stopping texting until my phone starts ringing. It's Melo.

"I see you bro, I see you." He says as soon as I answer and I grunt, annoyed.

"What you mean, fool?" I ask and he giggles like a school girl.

"Okay, let's act like I never just did that. Anyways, I see you tryna actually be less of a douche to Erin." He says and I begin to grow confused.

"How do you know that?" I ask.

"That friend I'm hanging out with, yeah it's Erin. If you weren't too blind in list you'd realize we're pretty good friends. Anyways, I'm coming back in about two hours. Erin and I are getting some McDonald's. Want anything?" He asks and I sigh. My heads spinning from everything.

"Just my usual, you know it." I say and hang up.

How could I be too blind to realize how good of friends Melo and Erin were. I just don't understand.
