It'd been days since her nightmare. It'd been days of me wondering what caused her nightmare. I hadn't had the courage to ask, not wanting a repeat of what happened last time I asked.

"What's up with you, bro?" Lonzo asks, startling me out of my little daze I was in.

"Nothing. Just worried." I say and he laughs.

"Basketball or girls? Because I can help with either." Lonzo says and I roll my eyes.

"I'm sure you can." I say and he smirks.

"No for real, what do you need help with?" He asks and I sigh.

"My girlfriend, Erin, had a bad past. And I'm trying to help her through it and get over it but I don't know how to without making her mad.

"It's hard because last time I tried, she got mad and shut me out. I had to do everything I possibly could to get her back. And I love her, and want what's best for her. But she won't let me in to know what I can do to help." I say, and Lonzo shakes his head.

Lonzo looks at me with one of the most serious expressions I've ever seen on his face. "You really must be in deep bro."

"I guess I am."
