Tyde's POV-
(This is happening sort of during the last chapter of that makes sense)
My taxi pulled up to the house. It seemed empty. There were no lights on in the house except for the basement. I pulled out my phone.
To Phoenix-
Im here, should I knock and ask for you? Are you alright, I haven't heard from you since I was at the airport.

I waited a few minutes for a response but I got nothing. I texted her almost a total of 10 times before calling her phone. She wasn't picking up or answering my texts. It was unusual for her, she carried her phone always. Even when in the shower.
I tried not to panic until I heard yelling. I immediately ran into the house. I yelled Phoenix's name over and over, and the screams kept getting louder. It was the worst sound that I had ever heard. Each scream brought tears in my eyes and an actual pain in my heart. I knew something had to be wrong. I called 911, the emergency number in America. And then I went to the basement, where I thought the yells and screams were coming from. What I saw was completely overwhelming. I saw her father, just mauling his daughter without any care in his heart and upon impulse, I just started running at Phoenix's father, knocking him over. I wasn't very strong, and when he recovered from the fall he began attacking me. I tried to hold him off. Without even feeling it, he dug his knife into my stomach and punched me with his free hand continually in my face. I felt nothing, and continued to fight in the direction of Phoenix, who seemed to be falling in and out of contiousness.
I managed to push myself away from her father and get him back on the ground. I looked down noticing that I had multiple wounds bleeding. Blood was puddling on the ground and on my shirt. Somehow he had managed to scratch up my arms, which were also scorching with red blood.
The police rushed into the room, pulling me off her father, and whisking me away from him. I tried to fight to get to Phoenix but paramedics rushed me to fix my cuts and wounds.
I tried to tell them that I was fine, until I wasn't and then suddenly the pain rushed in and I couldn't see straight. And that's all that I remember.
