Sami left her friend behind, because Star had asked that. But when she reached the top of the cliff, something had began to mess with her. Glimpses of things crashed through her mind, making her already-painful headache worse.
"Stop!" Sami heard someone yell. Sami realized she was in her own mind. This must be the demonic soul's doing. She saw a 13 year old Star, strapped down to a table in a sterilized testing room. Sami gasped, watching the horrific scene. Blood was spilling from Star's mouth, her frail body bruised and paler than usual. People in labcoats ran all around the screaming girl. It seemed no one could see Sami. She walked to the table, cautiously. Stars natural, strange beauty had disappeared. What Sami saw here, was a beaten, abused girl in so much pain that all she could do was cry.
Sami gasped as she woke up. Noah and Mario stood over her.
"Glad you decided to wake up." Mario said.
Sami looked at Mario, then at Noah. Noah was dishoveled, cheeks wet, eyes red. His blue eyes seemed darker, and Noah himself looked closed off and quiet.
"Wait. Sami, look at me." Sami looked at Mario, who was staring hard at her.
Samis cheeks turned bright pink. "What??"
"Your eyes. Their not blue. Their white. How?"
"Uhh...."
