The creep pinned me down to the hard concrete. She held a cloth over my nose. The cloth had a strong smell of alcohol, and I blacked out.
****A While Later****
I woke up, tied down in the back of a car. My pounding head felt heavy, like a bowling ball. Raising up slowly in the speeding car, I looked at the driver in the rear-view mirror. The girl from earlier. Her short black hair, black pearly eyes. She looked at me in the mirror, winked, then turned her eyes back to the bumpy road.
"Where are we going?" I said hoarsely.
"To your friends. Of course, I knew you would want to see them. Its not everyday we let little half-fleds like you see those youve betrayed."
"Betrayed? What the hell are you talking about?" I snarled.
"We planted some... well... thoughts into your little buddies' minds. Dont worry, only little harm was done. Though, the blue eyed redhead has a fractured arm." She laughed to herself.
I glared at her from the backseat. She had told my family that I had tried to betray them. But how? Are our 'species' able to mind-trick someone, or is she just trying to get to me? Either way, I had to find out where everyone has been taken. Had to make sure everyone was alive, and atleast only minor damage.
"Ahh, were here. Now, dont try to run. Then, well, we'd have to kill you!" The woman laughed.
"Ha, so amusing." I said sarcastically. She reached back, slapping me. My head whipped to the side, and I rolled my jaw.
"You will. Respect me. If I have to beat it out of your hard-headed ass. You WILL respect your own KIND around here. Especially your elders and superiors." The car slowly moved forward. This was it.
****Inside****
I was handcuffed. The black metal cuffs dug into my skin. It was painful. They walked me up stairs. When we reached the 18th floor, they led me to a cell. I saw 6 others crammed into the small room. They all looked at me, as if they were disgusted.
"G-guys... youre all alright!" I said.
"Yeah. Traitor." Noah said crisply.
"Thanks for leaving us to ourselves." Scott said.
They threw me into the cell after removing the cuffs. The door slammed as my face collided with the cold, hard floor. Sami helped me up.
"I didnt betray you all. They planted thoughts into your minds." I explained after about an hour of complete silence.
"Yeah, sure." Jason said savagely.
"Stop, all of you. Star is telling the truth. They couldnt do it to me because Star gave me some of her... 'unnatural' blood." Sami explained.
"Ooh yeah! Unnatural." I said, offended. Sami gave me a look as if to say 'You know what I mean'.
"So. If thats the case, how the hell are we supposed to get out of here?" Trinity asked.
"Thats just it," I said, "On the way here, I had read the woman's mind. I know the whole layout of this place. And its huge. So, heres the plan...."
