CHAPTER FIVE

*Jay's POV*

We all piled into the van to head to the studio. Kim and I sat with each other, and she just nuzzled into my shoulder, and I really didn't mind it. I don't think she noticed but I saw Michael take a picture of us. We were in the van for a good 15-20 minutes until we finally got to the studio. We all got out of the van and I looked at Kim and she looked a little nervous.

"Hey, you okay?" I asked her.

"Yea, I'm just a little nervous for today." She said.

"You will do great. Don't worry about it. If you want I can introduce you to everyone there." I said.

"Yea, that would be great. Thanks Jay." She said, and smiled.

We went into the studio and I walked her to the makeup and hair room and introduced to everyone. I left her there so she could learn the ropes, and I walked back into the main area, I saw Michael sitting on the couch so I went over to him.

"Michael please stop taking pictures of us." I said to him, right before I sat down next to him.

"Why? You guys look really cute together." He said, and then he pulled out his phone and showed me the pictures of us. I have to admit he was right we did look really cute together.

"Okay fine, We do look good together." I said, and I was smiling looking at these pictures.

"You really like her don't you?" Michael asked me. I nodded. "Why don't you ask her out?" He asked me.

"I was actually thinking about doing it tonight." I told him. He smiled and went back to looking at his phone. Since I had already preformed, I didn't have anything to rehearse for this week. But the producers still make us all go to the studio, since I was there I decided to just go hang out in the makeup and hair room with Kim.

*Kim's POV*

After Jay dropped me off in the makeup and hair room, I talked to a few of the other makeup artists, just to get a feel for what they would have me doing while you were working there. I wasn't doing much today since it was a rehearsal day, so I was just sitting on a chair in the corner on my phone. Then some girl walked in. She looked to be about my age, if not a little bit older.

"I'm sorry, we haven't seemed to have met yet. I'm Blake, I'm here helping Tim with the boys vocals." She said.

"Hi, I'm Kim. I'm helping out with makeup." I said. Blake said she was on a break right now, and asked me if I wanted to hang out until she had to go back. I said sure. We were in there for about 10 minutes just talking, until someone knocked on the door interrupting us. I got up and walked to the the door and opened it. It was Jay.

"Jay, what's up?" I ask.

"I assumed you were alone and needed someone to talk to"  Jay said, while walking into the room. Blake immediately got up, blushed, smiled and left. I'm not sure what that was about. We talked for the rest of rehearsals, and I found out where he grew up, his family life, what school he goes to, stuff like that. Once rehearsals were over Jay and I headed over to the vans, and everyone piled in to go to the hotel. I was sitting in between him and Michael this time. I was leaning on him again and he was smiling at me.

"When we get back to the hotel, do you wanna have another movie date like last night?" He asked. If I had, had water in my mouth at that moment, I would've spit it out, I was so shocked. 'A date? Did he just ask me on a date?' I thought. I contained my excitement and responded calmly.

"That would be great." I said to him with a smile. Now since this wasn't a private conversation all of the bus heard what he and I said. So they all started commenting on it.

"Aye lets get it." Michael said.

"Aw, you two are cute together." Chance said. Devin didn't say anything he just smirked at us.

"Get someeeee." Drew said. I laughed, but Jay just glared at him. After that no one said anything about me and Jay after that.

*Time Jump*

We get back to the hotel, and I tell Jay I wanna change into more comfortable clothes. He says that he wants to do the same, so he will text me when he is ready. So I head up stairs to change into some shorts, take out my contacts, and put my hair into a messy bun.

*Jay's POV*

Kim just said she was going up to change before our date, and I said I was gonna go get ready too. I walk into the elevator, and Michael hops in at the last second, literally about to get crushed by the doors.

"What are you doing? You could've just asked me to hold the door." I said to him.

"Ya but this way I felt like James Bond. But that's not why I came in here." Michael says.

"Okay Michael, get to the point, we are almost at our floor." I say to him.

"How are you gonna ask her? Is it gonna be like a big production type thing or are you just gonna ask her?"  He asks me.

"I'm just gonna ask her." I say, causing him to sigh. We finally get to our floor, and both Michael and I get off. I go to my room and change into some sweatpants, and take my shirt off. Then I texted Kim to tell her I was ready for her to come in.

Me - hey, i'm ready, come to my room anytime

K😘🙏- ok, be there in a few minutes.

A few minutes went by and I heard a knock at my door, I open it and let her in. She is still in my sweatshirt and she looks really hot, and she looks so cute with her glasses on, she should really wear them more often.

"So what are we watching tonight?" She asks. I tell her we will be watching Moana. But I tell her I have to ask her something first, she says okay and sits down on the edge of my bed.

"I know we haven't known each other for that long, but I really like you, and I wanted to know if you would like to be my girlfriend?" I ask.

"Of course Jay. I would love to." She says smiling. Then she gets up and kisses me. The kiss was amazing, the minute we touched I felt fireworks, and I could tell she felt them too. After that we just smiled at each other for a moment and then we got into my bed and watched the movie.

*Kim's POV*

Jay just asked me to be his girlfriend. Of course I said yes, I mean he's Jay, I knew from the moment I saw him that he was something special. I got up immediately and I kissed him, and there were fireworks, he felt them too. We climbed into his bed and just stared at each other smiling, before turning on the movie.

I snuggled up into him and he put his arm around me, and again I felt safe and warm, and I started to fall asleep, right there.
