Hayley's POV

Finally the day has arrived. The annual masquerade ball starts at 7pm. Shelby arrives at my end so we could dress up together. Logan will pick us up. We dress up and wait for Logan to come pick us up. He arrives in 30 minutes time and we set off for the party. When we got there,the place looked magical. I couldn't believe this was our office. Then again we did a massive Job with the decorations. The party was already in full swing when we got there. I spotted Aiden right away. He was talking to a group of people who seemed important. The song changed and everyday one went to the dance floor with their partners except me. I didn't come along with anyone. I stood awkwardly looking at everyone dancing then I heard a voice.

"Do you want to dance?"

I turned to see a very handsome guy looking at down at me with his hands outstretched. I hesitated for a second.

"Come on I don't bite,it's just one dance"

I decided to accept after all what's the worse that can happen right ?
We move unto the dance floor and the song changed into a slow song. We start waltzing and making small talk.

"How come I have never seen you here before,is it your first time?"

"Yeah it is"

So you work Here or something?"

"Yeah I do"

"Great body,beautiful smile....you must be a model"

"No,am actually a make up artiste"

"Really, you could pass on as a model"

"Very funny"

"No its true. You are very pretty"

"Thanks" . I blush.

Just then someone interrupts.

" I see you're getting cozy"

I didn't have to lift my head to know it was Aiden. I move away from......uurgh I didn't even ask of his name the whole time. That is just classic me. Way to go Hayley.

"Hey douche", the guy I was dancing with says to Aiden

" Hey scum,its been a while" he retorts

"Wait you two know each other?

" Oh yeah,he didn't introduce himself?
His name is Keith Brown "

"OK,well its nice meeting.......wait Brown?as in.."

"Yeah... He is my cousin"

"Correction, Awesome super cute cousin"

"Shut it" Aiden says.

"Whoa whoa time out guys. This is a party. Jayden appears out of nowhere and diffuse the tension. I think we should go he says to Aiden

" Yeah I think you should. This pretty thing here and I need to get to know each other more" Keith says , wriggling his eyebrows.
