All the pups were laying there broken, beaten, and defeated. "Chase, what are we going to do?" said Skye weakly. "I-I-I don't know Skye!" said Chase weakly as he reached out to her. Ryder and the gang were sitting there, enjoying the pups in a lot of pain. "Get them!" said Ryder. The gang picked up the pups and threw them in the back of a van. When they finally made it back to the city hall, they each picked up one of the pups and brought them inside. "You pups won't be doing anymore saving for the rest of your pathetic lives!" said Ryder as he kicked Chase. When the pups saw this, they growled, only till the rest of the gang put muzzles on the pups.
"Goodway, we brought them!" said Ryder. Through the muzzle, Chase let out a tiny growl only he could hear. "Excellent work everybody! Now throw them in the prison!" said Goodway. The gang threw them in the prison one by one, but Goodway shut the cell before Chase could get thrown in. Skye ran at the cell screaming Chase's name with tears in her eyes. The rest of the pups comforted her and tried to get out of the cell, but couldn't.
