I stood there confused,

"Can I at least walk home with you? It's getting late..." I spoke softly.

"No. Please leave me alone."

I got mad, I was angry and was about to lose it at her but then I saw her eyes.

I saw how she looked to the ground after refusing me again, hesitant sad eyes yet not nagotiative.

I sighed deeply,

"Can you at least tell me why?"

"I'm not allowed."

I looked away.

She walked away, oh how I wished I had stopped her.
