She was being scolded by our history teacher, Mr Sang.
"Your grades have been dropping recently, Ms Yoon. I can't have that."
She nodded, not saying anything as she looked shamefully at the ground.
I wanted to pull her out of there like what are you ashamed of, you lost less marks than that I had ever scored.
But I couldn't do it.
Mr Sang sighed again when he didn't get an answer from her,
"If they drop again, I will have to call your parents."
She looked up at him, eyes pleading, she was about to say something.
He wanted to hear.
I wanted to hear.
But she just looked down even more.
He just left.
Then I was ashamed I didn't get you out of there.
