Weeks passed by and I was happy again,

You got good marks at history finally,

And you couldn't stop smiling.

Sometimes the solutions are too simple but we are just bounded by the problem.

It was after school,

Your dad was late,

I didn't want to leave you alone,

But you insisted on me leaving.

I stood there confused,

"Can I at least walk home with you? It's getting late." I spoke softly.

"No. Please, just leave me alone."

Not again.

I got mad, I was angry and was about to lose it at you again but then I saw your eyes,

I saw how you looked to the ground after refusing me again, hesitant sad eyes yet not nagotiative.

I sighed deeply.

"Can you at least tell me why?"

"I'm not allowed."

We laughed at it.

"I'm leaving after exams," You said, "I will travel to continue studying abroad."

Now I felt sad,

"Will you come back?"

I was pleading.

"I don't know maybe, one day, someday."

I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding.

"I hope you do great."

"Thanks, you too."

You insisted again on me leaving, so I did.

Oh, how I wish I could bring back time.
