Vanoss pov

Mini and Nogla keep leading the way while Lui comes back and forth between them and us. Terroriser or Brian is walking with us quietly but I'm starting to feel uneasy around him.

What is going on?... Something is wrong here.

Nogla " Hey you hear that? "
Mini " Yea. "
Lui " What? "
Mini " It's the highway, we're close to the highway. "
Brian " Hey we should see if we can get a ride from someone. "
Vanoss " But we don't even know where we are going. "
Mini " I assume they went back to the base. "
Nogla " We we're there how many times? They could have moved or even moved to another base. "
Brian " What base? "
Vanoss " You'll know later. "

He nods and we continue walking, Nogla and Mini transform back to human and walk ahead. I hear them talking each other and I watch Lui join into the conversation. Out of the corner of my eye I see Brian look behind us and then above us. I stop to stretch so he walks ahead of me, I have a quick look around us but see nothing. I'm for some reason getting a weird feeling about Brian as we get closer to the highway.

Nogla " There she is. "
Mini " The highway is a she now? "
Nogla " Fine, there it is. "
Lui " It's an it now? "
Nogla " Oh fuck off you two. "
Brian " So what are we going to do now? "

Everyone stops and starts to think.

Lui " You know we could get a ride to the closet place where the base is located. "
Nogla " And if they are not there, then what? "
Mini " Figure out what to do from there. "
Brian " We finding a ride? "

I look at Brian suspiciously.

He keeps asking for a ride, why?

Vanoss " Tired of walking? "
Brian " Well you won't carry me. "
Vanoss " You never asked. "
Brian " True and yes I'm tired of walking remember I fell off cliff. "

What? He remembers that? But then how come he doesn't remember Mini or Lui or is that all he can remember so far. Something is going on here.

Nogla " Might as well. "
Vanoss " Huh? "
Lui " Come on, we're going to find a ride. "

Lui skips ahead while the rest of us keep walking.

Lui pov

I stop skipping once I'm close to the highway, I watch all the different vehicles pass by. If I we're to cross the highway, I would probably be run over.

Nogla " Okay let's see who will pick us up. "
Lui " So are we going west or east? "
Mini " I remember the base being northwest of the house so west. "
Lui " How long? "
Vanoss " Too many questions Lui. "
Lui " Well I would like to know. "
Brian " Hey look, that van is slowing down. "

A white van starts to turn off to the side of the highway and they put on their hazard lights on as they slowly pull up to us. The window on the passenger side is rolled down.

??? " Hello there! Need help? "
Nogla " Yes, we need a ride but I see your heading east and we need to go west. "
??? " How far? "
Mini " Just a few miles I think. "
??? " Okay, hop in the back. "

We make our way to the back and as we do a guy hops out and opens the doors. Brian gets in first and then Nogla and Mini start to and that's when the driver and another come and attack us.

I watch Mini and Nogla pass out and I see I'm next. I watch the guy pull the trigger and I see the dart coming at me but I'm pulled out of the way. I'm pulled down into the forest by Vanoss as we run away.

Lui " No please we got to go back! "
Vanoss " I'm sorry but we can't! "

He stops and then wraps his arms around me, immediately we're in the air. Flying away from the highway and into the clouds.

Nogla...
