Chapter 31

Lui pov

You bitch.

I growl as best as I can, I slowly put on Vanoss sweater. I get up and start to move the direction Vanoss took off in.

Fucking asshole but I do see why.... I would drag them down if they did escape or if we got into a fight. I remember what Mini told me when they were there and he was in heat.

I stop and sit down beside a tree.

I wish I wasn't part female or a omega or what ever the name is!

I pull my legs against my chest, I lay my head on my knees and arms.

Why couldn't we be normal?... It would have been so much easier.

I'm suddenly lifted up and I'm in the air. I go to struggle but I see it's Vanoss and he looks like he got beat up.

Lui " Wwwhat happened? "
Vanoss " I got attacked while sneak around the base. They are on high alerts, something is happening inside. "

Vanoss pulls me close to his chest and then we land in a tree. He finds a good place to sit among the branches while I just hang on to him. Once we have settled down, I sit up and see a big cut above his left eye and a few on his cheeks.

Lui " So? "
Vanoss " What? "
Lui " Tell meee what all happeneddd. "
Vanoss " I got close and noticed something was wrong inside, the walls of the building were like moving. I sneaked as close as I could before the alarms went off and the guards went crazy, they ran around in a panic. Somehow during the chaos the other hybrids saw me and chased me down. Ohm and Chilled caught up to me and give me these few cuts... "

Vanoss goes quiet, I notice that he goes into deep thought.

Vanoss " I don't know if it was me or not but I fought back and suddenly there was fire. It surrounded Chilled and Ohm, I made my escape back to you. "
Lui " Fire? "
Vanoss " Yea. "

I'm pulled into Vanoss chest again and I feel his wings wrap around me.

Vanoss " There here. "

We silently sit up in the tree hoping they leave but from what there saying, I think we're screwed.

Ohm " I can smell something almost sweet like gummy bears. "
Basically " Gummy bears in the middle of the fucking forest? "
Nanners " I think we're close. "
Vanoss " Lui you got to trust me, since Nogla or the others aren't here I got to protect you... Stay here and I'll try to come back but if I'm not back by dark well...... Stay safe Lui, I'll try to come back. "

I look at Vanoss, worried about his plan. He moves slowly to not make a noise, once I'm laying in a curled up position on the top of the tree he takes off. I hear the three yell they spotted him him but I don't hear them take after him. I slowly move to where I can see everything happening, Ohm, Basically and Nanners stand in a little clearing watching Vanoss fly above. I see Nanners suddenly turn and look directly at me.

Nanners " We know your there, Vanoss can't  hide you sweet scent. "

I'm fucked...

I start to crawl back but stop when I hear a scream of pain. Something hits the base of the tree which shakes and a few leaves fall.

Ohm " Your quite strong when your not in heat. "
Nanners " Shut the fuck up Ohm and help me! "
Basically " Oh shit! "

I hear a snap and the falling of a tree. I crawl back and see Nanners rubbing his head at the base of the tree while Ohm and Vanoss are at a stand off with Basically no where to be seen. Ohm goes to jumps at Vanoss but stops.

Ohm " Shit.... Your lucky Vanoss that we have to go. "
Nanners " God dammit, I wanted to beat him up! "
Ohm " Like you could  own come on before Moadie gets more mad and we become the next experiment. "
Nanners " Says you. "

Ohm growls and then they both take off, Vanoss stands there watching them leave.

Lui " Are they gone? "
Vanoss " For now. "

Vanoss flys up and into the tree, he comes and sits beside me.

Lui " You seems upset. "
Vanoss " This is all my fault. "
