Chapter 35

It was a long quiet night, the docs ran their tests and the other three wandered around. Vanoss and Lui just sat on the rooftop talking and enjoying each other's company. The other's we're planning and now that Vanoss and Lui here, extra help they are happy about.

Vanoss pov

Lui " Heat suppressants are sure handy. "
Vanoss " Yea, especially back in the day. "
Lui " True. I feel more lively and free, not.... You know. "
Vanoss " I'm glad they helped us, nice to have some help for once. "
Lui " We helped you! "
Vanoss " Yes and I caused trouble for y-- Ow! "

I rub where Lui hit me as I glare at him.

Lui " Don't do that, it was bound to happen sooner or later. They would find us, they always find us plus you just happened to show up and now we're long lost friends again! "

I couldn't help but sigh.

Vanoss " I still feel like a stranger around you even with the memories back. "
Lui " Sadly but same. "

Smarty pov

Ze " This plan will work! "
Smarty " Great but first of all you have Vanoss and Lui in there and second, Lui is in heat. The suppressants may make him feel like normal but his scent will stink up the place blowing our cover. Gotta have him else where. "
Galm " Well he could help me with lookout? "
Ze " Fine.... I'll go get them. "
Smii7y " What if they disagree with the plan? "
Ze " They owe us! "

This plan or any plan we make has got to work, only one chance we're going to get. She may not have Vanoss but she does have others and that won't stop her from showing them off.

Gassy " I hope we finally end this. "

Gassy and Galm are up and ready with their guns. Smii7y ready's his pistol and I kinda stand here, not much I can do.

Panda " Yes! We made it! "
Kryoz " Great now move your ass out of the way! "
Panda " Okay grumpy. "
Gassy " Panda! Kryoz! "

Just as the guns came out, they disappeared and left for they are not quite proper for a group hug. The hug actually turned into three guys tackling two other guys.

Ze " You guy's are alive? "
Kryoz " Hell yea we are! "
Smii7y " I thought your team was dead? "
Panda " We thought we were but nope us two, just got lucky I guess. "
Ze " Good for you to be back. "

Vanoss and Lui quietly stand in the background.

Smarty " Come you two, your probably hungry? Thirsty? "
Vanoss " No thank you. "
Kryoz " You! "

Kryoz was up and making his way towards Vanoss. Lui hid behind Vanoss who stood his ground.

Kryoz " You spying? Getting ready to kill us for your master? What's your deal? Huh? "

They stood face to face, both a deadly glare painted on their face.

Vanoss " I have no deal. "
Kryoz " Bullshit you pet! "
Panda " Kryoz stop!.. Just leave him be. "
Kryoz " No, he could be spying and reporting back to his master. "
Vanoss " Pet? Master? Fuck you, I never was anything to her. "
Kryoz " But still her favorite. "

I carefully watch the both of them cause I know we're going to have a fight. Vanoss eyes now have a golden glow to them.

Smarty " Smii7y go get a note pad and a pen. "
Ze " Enough, we don't need a big mess to clean up. "
Kryoz " Did you forget what did!? Burned and hunted down us, our bases, friends and anything else you could find. Most of us even lost our family! "

I begin to right notes of how Vanoss's power
Vanoss " You think I enjoyed everything I did? I barely remember anything! My life is just a big blur to me! I feel like I'm in a completely different body! Nothing seems real! And I know everyone hates me! "
Kryoz " Oh the poor lost bird... That doesn't make me like you any better. Your a monster, mistake, an abomination to this world! "
Smarty " Kryoz! "
Kryoz " It's true, look at him! "
Ze " Most of us are hybrids, hybrids against our will. Stop making it seem like we choosed to be this way. "
Kryoz " You turned our friends in monsters! "
Vanoss " I didn't do anything. "
Kryoz " Yea you did nothing but cause a lot of pain and suffering. "
Lui " Stop it! "

Lui now stood between the two of them.

Kryoz " Lui get away from him. "
Lui " No, he's my friend! "

Kryoz grabbed a handful of Lui's sweater, it happened to fast to stop any of it. Lui hit the ground and a gun went off. Vanoss fell back, holding his side. Kryoz reloaded but in a flash of red he slammed into the wall.

Lui " Vanoss? "
Vanoss " Hmm? "
Lui " How you feeling? I saw you moving around alot. "
Vanoss " I'm.... Fine. "
Lui " Oh you... If Moo was here he would give you a good scolding and talking to.... Kryoz is okay, he's just going to be sore. Ze put him into a cell until he behaves. "

Lui's body was warm against my hip. My shirt and jacket being off, the bandages don't help much with keeping me warm.

Vanoss " Why's it so cold? "
Lui " Yea, Smarty said it wouldn't be too warm down here. He was going to come right back but I'll cover you up till he does. "

Slowly I open my eyes as Lui stands up than pulls the blanket up to my chin. I sigh at the nice warmth caressing my body.

Lui " Finally you look at me. Kinda weird talking to you when your half asleep. "
Smarty " Oh good he is awake. Should be stand here soon. "
Lui " Huh? "
Smarty " He's healing himself, so to say he has healing powers. Amazing if fact. "
Lui " You kinda scare me, so happy over glowing eyes. "
Smarty " Well I'm a doctor and scientist, you hybrid may have been made but it's amazing at how quickly the animal side grew and bonded with you. If I didn't know about the lab, I would have thought you were born that way. Now it is possible for you to born a hybrid now if you were to breed. Well not you so to speak but every hybrid has the heat but your is different. A female must have bonded to you which is why you become horny, weak, reek of strong pheromones, and such. No you can't get pregnant no matter how much someone tried unless umm well anyways you might have a female animal so yea. The other males going into heat but not quite like you and since your part animal the mate for life is a much, much stronger bond. "

Smarty " Well your a bit pale so I'll get some water for you but you should be good here in the next hour or so. "

Smarty " Well most do have a few powers like speed, strength, extreme hearing and such. You heal faster than normal and I wonder like to run a few tests. Your the first hybrid I have met or got to do blood work on from group one. I know she did some extreme testing and work on you. "
Lui " Group one? How do you know so much? "
Smarty " Let me get that water and I'll tell you whatever you want to know. "

Lui " Last I checked they were in the lab planning. "

I take a deep breath than let it out slowly as a wave of sudden tiredness washes over me.
