Anxiety thought he had never fitted in, no matter how much attempts it took, Anxiety was always just someone in a black hoodie hiding in the background of Thomas Sanders' personality.

Roman was pretty much better at everything,

Logan had more smarts than he could ever have,

Patton always saw the bright side of things while he just sees darkness when he sees light.

Anxiety was always told how great he was, and how everyone loved him, but he never believed any of them.

He tried to be unique but he saw nothing different.

Anxiety being the emotional wreck he thinks he is, he always feels awkward,

Like that one time where all of them were having a meeting, discussing video ideas. When they were all arguing about how things should work, Anxiety was paying no attention until Logan asked him What they should do. While feeling 4 pairs of eyes staring right through him waiting for an answer, he panicked and said nothing. When it was time for them to edit the footage they had scraped it last second because of how badly they all think it turned out.

Anxiety had never realized how important he was.

One day when Anxiety's stress was almost overflowing he saw the other four walking past him, talking, laughing, and mostly having fun, something Anxiety hadn't done in forever.

Anxiety was walking the opposite way of them, not paying any attention, he accidentally bumped his shoulder with Patton's, Anxiety fell on the ground getting the other's attention. Patton had tried to help Anxiety up but having an overwhelming stress and jealousy level Anxiety burst into tears yelling at Patton unintentionally. After realizing what he had just done he ran away to his room, locked his door, and slid down on the ground, curling himself into a ball unable to do anything else, but cry.

He couldn't hear the desperate knocking of the door from the other side,

He couldn't feel his surroundings,

All he did was cry, he later found himself next to his desk but he still continued to cry more, he never realized how long since the last time he let out any emotion,

It piled up, and up. And up.

And overflowed...

After multiple attempts of door picking from Logan, body slams from Roman, Knockings from Patton, and convincing from Thomas.

They all finally broke open Anxiety's door.

They all stood at the doorway eyeing around the room trying to find Anxiety, Patton had found him first, he ran over to him and tried to comfort him, the others came and sat by him too.

Patton really wanted to hug him but he knew Anxiety wouldn't react.

Anxiety opened his eyes and looked up seeing all of them, with concerned faces, he wanted to get away from them, and he didn't at the same time.

He stood up but Patton was quicker and instantly hugged Anxiety.

Virgil accepted the hug and heard many compliments from all of them, this time he believed each one of them.

He no longer had that voice telling him that they're lying anymore...

Virgil spent more time with Patton, Logan, Roman, and working with Thomas, understanding himself more.

Each of them bonded a stronger relationship with Virgil understanding him better.

Virgil helps Roman with performing Thomas' act,

Virgil helps Logan by making sure Thomas double or even triple check things he needed,

Virgil helps Patton by evening out emotions,

Virgil helps Thomas by helping everyone else,

Overall Virgil knows he helps and is useful.
