The first time Luna and I fought was on a Thursday night.
She had shown up at my window and crawled into bed with me and then everything went downhill.
"What's wrong?"
"Nothing Ember. I'm tired."
"Your breath seems to say otherwise." I regretted it as soon as the words escaped my mouth.
"Are you fucking kidding me? Really, you want to talk about that?"
"I'm sorry, I..."
"Fuck you. You can't say shit about anything I do! You have no say about my activities."
"I'm sorry, Luna."
"No fuck that, Ember. Hell yeah I was drinking. And that's not the only thing I was doing. Fuck off." She climbed out if my window and into the night with tears clouding her vision and alcohol clouding her mind.
I sat in bed and rubbed my face. I groaned at my stupidity and questioned why I had to say that.
