During Easter break, we spent our time doing and Easter egg hunt. She suggested the event and since she seemed so happy, I went along. She drove us and played happy music for once and I was so happy to see her acting like this again.
She was her real self again for a while and it was wonderful. Her red lipstick covered her lips again, her hair was done up and she sang without a care.
After our egg hunting adventure, Luna had 34 and I had a sad 13, we went to breakfast. We got tons of pancakes and coffee, plenty of bacon and eggs and enough sugar to last us hours.
"I'm very happy, Ember." She smiled and stuffed her face with pancakes. "I haven't been this happy in a long time."
"That's good, Luna." I smiled along with her. "I'm happy for you and I'm happy you feel better."
"I love you."
"I love you too."
We ate our food, smoked a cigarette and headed home. She slept in the passenger side and she seemed so relaxed.
I woke her up when we got home and placed her in my bed, letting her sleep the rest of the day as I studied and cleaned the house.
We were back to how we were and I loved it.
