Calum's POV
My eyes were kept trained on the picture before me. The boys had left about an hour ago, claiming that they were tired and needed to head home. So here I was, staring at the photo of the blonde who had caught my eye.
I don't know what it was about him that intrigued me.
Maybe it was that one-dimple smile he adorned.
Or maybe it was the way his nose scrunched up, making him look like a kitten.
My thumb hovered over the 'message' option as I calculated the pros and cons of my actions.
After a few more minutes of pondering I finally decided to muster my courage.
"Fuck it," I breathed out, tapping on the bubble and creating a chat.

I honestly had no idea what I was doing right now. I was just following what my heart told me to do and ignoring the warnings from my brain.
Finally, after what seemed like zygons, he started typing.
@lukehemmings: hey !
Right now, I was stumped as to what to do, regretting my decision as I was probably going to make myself look like a fool. I was abruptly snapped out of my thoughts when my phone buzzed again.
@lukehemmings: do you wanna be friends or do you just need someone to talk to ? I don't mind being a listening ear
A smile crept onto my face at his response. He couldn't get any better, could he?
