As some weeks passed Eli and I hung out with Adam a lot until he parted his way back to the basketball team. That meant for 2 weeks I was able to be with Eli as boyfriend and girlfriend around Adam. It was Friday and the first thing I did when I saw Eli was give him a hug, I really missed his warmth around me or when he held me. Eli also greeted me in the morning with the longest kiss ever it felt so comforting. Eli and I went to our lockers and hung out at break time and talked heaps in English class. When it came to lunch Eli took me behind the main building to sit in the school garden area. I always loved this place because it was the only place that seemed free and looked happy, but now it’s even better with Eli in the picture. We ate our lunch and Eli asked me by holding my hands “Do you want to come over again? And this time I will only do what you want to do.”
I have a moment to think all that is rushing through my head is we are going to make out again but if I’m in charge he will only do what I want, so what’s the risk it’s my boyfriend. I reply with “Yes and we are only going to do what I think is good ok…”
He smiles and gave me a kiss and says “Of course.”
The bell had rung and we both went to our next classes. It then came to the end of the day and Eli drove me home and I collected my things to bring to his house. My mother and father noticed me with a blanket and slippers. My father asks “Darling you’re going for a sleepover at whose house?”
I turn to him and say with courage “My boyfriend’s house”
My mother and father looked at each other in shock and they both yelled “You’re not going to his house!”
I yell back at them “Mum, Dad I am 16 years old now I have found someone who loves me back and you’re not stopping me!” I ran to the front door and ran outside slamming it shut. I shoved my things into Eli’s car and he quickly drove off to his house. We arrived as I walked to the boot of the car to get my things Eli opened it and got all my stuff and took it upstairs it his room. All I brought for tonight were bathroom supplies, blanket, slippers, phone and a change of clothes. I took off my jacket and I fell onto Eli’s bed, he also joined me and we both stared up at the roof. I asked him “What are we going to do we have no homework this time and at school we have watched your movies on your laptop at lunch.”
He sat up and looked down at me he replied with “Do you have a dress and heels?”
“Yeah, I brought them in case why?” I answered.
He picked me up and said “Were going out for dinner to a diner and its 1950’s style so awesome roller blade waitresses!”
I gave Eli a stare and said “Don’t get the hots for them” and I stood up and went to my bag and got out my clothes and Eli came up to me and kissed me passionately and said “Never in a million years would I fall for anyone else”.
“Well then great, you’re stuck with me forever hahaha” I answered. He smiled and showed me to the bathroom to get changed in.
Once I changed I waited downstairs at the front door. Eli came down and said “Looking stunning as always.”
I smile and Eli opens the front door and we start to walk down the street to Mini City Street that’s what I call it. In this street there is everything restaurants, take away, fast food, shops and heaps more. We stop at the diner and we were greeted at the door by a young waitress probably the same age as Eli. Her dress was short, wearing cake face makeup, fake long nails and chewing gum so loud all I could hear was her loud mouth. She asked us rudely “How many are you?”
I replied rudely back to her “Use your eyes and look up, you may be able to see what you’re doing.”
She gave me a angry stare and quickly noticed Eli. She leaned against the wall and said “Oh I see two people; I’ll get you a seat. Oh hey sweety you’re a cutie…”
I looked at Eli and he replied to the waitress “Just give us a seat.” She escorted us to a small corner booth the lighting was dim and romantic as I sat in the booth I looked around the place looked very 1950’s diner styled the live music playing came from the 1950’s, I loved a good bit of rock ‘n’ roll. I ordered a coca cold as my drink with an entrée of salt and pepper prawns and my main was Steak with wedges and a side bowl of salad and my desert was chocolate fondue for two. Eli had ordered something else but it sounded interesting. Our drinks and entrees came out Eli and I ate it all down in a few minutes it was so tasty. Our main came out and we ate every last piece of it the main was heaps better and more delicious; it was like food heaven I was in. The fondue came out I was dying for it, Eli picked up a strawberry and dipped it in chocolate he said “open wide” so I did and he fed me the most amazing desert. He continued until I felt full. I then grabbed a strawberry and fed him. It came to strawberry and I cut it in half and we both dipped it in chocolate and linked arms and fed each other I felt like a little kid because we shared so many laughs.
Eli kissed me and as the same waitress came up to ask for our bill she slammed her hand on the table and said “Stopped sucking face now?”
Eli gave her the money and we walked outside. We both strolled down the streets and looked at all the shops we even got more food, I always loved eating ice cream after dinners. We walked back to the car and Eli drove us back to his house. As I went inside I went into the bathroom and got dressed into short rag pants and an oversized jumper as my top and I waited on Eli’s bed for Eli to finish dressing.
He came through the door and changed into a black shirt and black shorts but they weren’t Pyjama’s. He leaned in and gave me a kiss it was long and slow, it set the mood for us two. We finished and I suggested popcorn and watch TV. We went downstairs and I sat on the couch in the lounge room and waited for Eli to finish cooking the popcorn. He brought it over and turned on the TV I grabbed the remote and started looking through the channels. I end up on some old musical movie. I start to hum some of the word but Eli stops me by feeding me more popcorn. As a dramatic scene starts in the movie I snuggle in on Eli more, he looks at me and smiles I smile back to him of course. I then kiss Eli out of the blue and I start to get heavier but then I was cut off by Eli asking me “This is what happened last time I don’t want to ruin it.”
“You’re not ruining anything, I want to go further.” I reply.
He smiles and kisses me more passionately and stronger than ever before. Soon I notice he is on top of me but no clothes off I knew we weren’t going to that stage yet. As we having the best time of our romantic lives the doorbell rang which soon cuts off the excitement. Eli peers through the looking glass on the door and it’s his parents they came home late from work. He lets them in and I give a smile to them and politely say hello. Eli’s father so says aloud “You finally got a girl in this house. Eli has a double bed.” And his parents walk upstairs. Eli approaches and sits back down on the couch. I didn’t snuggle in again I looked at him puzzled. I asked him “Finally got someone in the house….double bed…..what is your dad talking about. You know I’m not doing it until later in school life not now!”
Eli looks at me and holds my hand and says “I know we won’t I’ll only follow your rules I don’t want to make you feel unsafe. It’s just I became lonely because my other girlfriend she ummm……..”
“Yes continue” I interrupted,
“She got really hurt one day. I was with her and she got way to drunk and the party was at an old train station platform but the railway lines were still used for transporting trains…..she got way to drunk and I tried to convince her to come home and she’ll be more safer. She argued back at me and screamed that she was fine, but as we were arguing she was stepping backwards and she fell onto the railway tracks. I did everything I could to get her back up but the train came to fast and hit her. It also hit my arm because I was reaching out to her. I had a broken arm for months it was that bad, but in the next hospital bed beside me she passed out and the doctors tried to wake her up but she didn’t….so with you I don’t want to get you hurt or feel unsafe.”
I started to cry, I gave Eli the longest hug ever and kissed him and said “I’m here whenever you need me, I want you to feel happy and safe.” After that conversation for the rest of the movie I snuggled Eli until we fell asleep on the couch together.
