What have you gotten yourself into?

The day started with you waking up and getting ready for work. You always hated your job, you hated getting up in the morning to go to it, hate the whole 8 hours that you have to stay, and you hated heading home, knowing you'll have to wake up tomorrow to do it again.

What is your line of work you might ask?

You're a "product tester" or what you like to call a lab rat. Everyday you would work amongst scientists and try out their creations. Be it hoverboards, anti-ageing cream, cars, pretty much anything that could be thought of and made.

Over the years of you working at that job, you acquired many immunities from all of the meds and products you've ingested and tested.

Today, they asked you to come to work early to try out a new device.

Great.

You grab your keys on your way to your car and head to work.

"-and if it works (and you don't die) we'll give you a raise."

"Uh..."

You furrow your brows as you struggle to comprehend what the scientist said. You couldn't quite understand him, considering the fact you don't speak egghead. All you heard was "something about a portal" and "getting a raise if you live"

Just as you were about to question him he pushed you into a chamber and locked the door. You turned around around to glare at him through the window, but he wasn't there.

"Over here!"

A voice muffled by glass called. You looked at him through the double sided windows. He stood at a control pannel. Pushing buttons and pulling levers. He paused to ask you a question.

"Alright, (y/n). Are you ready?"

You give him a questioning look.
As sparks emit from a strange glowing sphere and begin to fly and bounce off of the walls in the room.

"Uh, no. I'm not ready."

The the sphere gets bigger and turns into something like a portal. Maybe more like a black hole because it's starting to suck you into itself.

"I-I think we should put this on hold for a moment. I kinda have to pee."

You sputtered holding on to the floor to avoid being sucked into the portal.

"Wait! I changed my mind! I th-"

Before you could finish, the portal finally sucked you into itself, you blacked out.

"Is- *urp* is she dead?"

Two tall elderly men stood over you. Checking if you were still alive.

One of them bent down and checked for a pulse.

"She mIIGGht as well be.Her heartbeat is really slow. Such a shame, she's kinda cute."

"Lets just dispose of her body and get back on du-"

Your eyes suddenly shot open. You look around rapidly and take in your surroundings.

You look to be in some sort of advanced place or buliding. You notice there's alot of scientist looking men and teenage boys that all look the same. You look up and see two men in uniforms - that looked the same as all of the others- staring down at you. You're scared, you dont know where you are, theres a bunch of weird men that look the same, and you have to pee. All of it is alot to take in.
