People need to know that if they lost a loved one to suicide, that loved one did not take their life to hurt you.
They took their life due to the fact that they were struggling and in the worst mental pain ever and that is nobody's fault. It is just like when the doctor pulls the plug on a patient that has no chance and has a "real" disease.
You need to know that Mental Illness is the one and only damn disease where we blame the person for having it. Nobody ever walks up to someone and says "Fuck you because you have cancer". In fact, you will get your ass beat if you say that to someone with cancer (like you should).
Why isn't Mental Illness the same exact way?
Why does nobody care if someone walks up and says "fuck you for having depression"?
People die from suicide just like they die from cancer or any other "real" disease, therefore they both should be treated with an equal amount of care.
Scientist work around the clock to find a cure for a "real" disease so the doctor doesn't pull the plug. Be your loved one's cure so the plug isn't pulled too soon.
