She would lay in her bed to await to be gently tucked in with a kiss on the forhead.
And there he comes.
To turn her world grey and wipe away her innocence.
A dull aching and void was left where his careless hands had reached out to detroy.
A monster in disguise seeking to examine his pray.
To take her dignity
Her freedom
Her voice
She was silent because as he told her
"Daddy will go to a bad place if you tell mommy"
"You don't want that to happen, now do you?"
"No, Daddy." She would say
Her mornings consisted of the hope that bedtime would never come
Not knowing that the grey world she lived in would haunt her forever
In her dreams
Her thoughts
As time past she would get more stubborn
He would fight with her more and more often
"Please, Daddy."
She would plead
He would make threats as if in order to be accepted...
She had to sell herself
Her rights
So thats what she did at the age of six.
For months
This went on
Until the night, she watched as he was handcuffed and put into the back of a police car.
