"I want fries. And an ice cream. And fries dipped in ice cream," Lowell said as I closed my locker.
"Fries dipped in ice cream? What gave you that idea?" I asked, laughter in my voice.
"I dunno. It's just what I feel like," he shrugged, following me as I walked toward the exit.
"Any other strange requests?" I laughed.
He wiggled his eyes brows, obviously trying to be mischievous, and I laughed.
He stopped, standing before me.
"A kiss my dear madam!" He said in a old voice.
"What century do you belong to?" I laughed.
"Whichever one has you in it," he said, serious again.
We stared at each other and he leaned down, pushing his lips firmly yet gently against mine.
I breathed in his scent and wrapped my arms around his neck.
"Was that good enough?" I breathed, pulling away.
"Nowhere near," he replied, pressing his lips against mine again.
"I think I just the threw up in my mouth. Gag!" a familiar voice said.
I laughed as Lowell groaned, muttering something under his breath.
"Hey Robin," I laughed, looking at my best friend.
"Seriously. You guys should get a room..." Robin scrunched her nose as if imagining something gross,"On second thought, that could lead to some nasty stuff. Forget I ever mentioned that!"
Lowell intertwined his fingers with mine as I laughed and took my bag from me, carrying it as we walked towards the exit again.
"Did you hear? Micheal broke up with Laura and now she's planning a revenge make out session with Dean! At the pep rally! Can you believe it?!" Robin said, walking alongside me.
I laughed as Lowell leaned forward, talking to Robin.
"Don't you have anything better to do than spy on the schools popular squad?" He asked, frowning.
"Hon, I don't need anything besides gossip," she argued.
I laughed as we stopped and dug around in my back, occasionally letting my fingers brush against Lowell's shoulder. The sound of a motorcycle filled my ears and I frowned as it grew louder.
"Oh shit," Robin said, staring behind me into the parking lot.
"What?" I followed her gaze, until it stopped on a leather clad, lean figure, sitting on a black Harvey that drove closer, until it stopped next to us.
I felt my chest squeeze as the driver killed the engine and took off their helmet.
Lowell growled as the person stepped off the bike, staring at me.
My tongue stuck to the top my mouth and I bit my lip.
"Hey Amb," the motorcyclist said.
I took a step back, but calmed down as I felt Lowells hand intertwine with mine again and give it a squeeze.
The motorcyclist narrowed his eyes at our intertwined hands.
"I see you moved on," he said.
"What are you doing here?" Lowell snapped.
"Easy pretty boy," the boy said, his blue almost black eyes meeting mine,"I just came to talk."
"You shouldn't be here," I said.
"...Percy."
