I pulled away from the kiss, breathing heavily.

He smirked, also breathing heavy.

Then he leaned in again and our lips met passionately.

Before I knew what was happening his hands were pulling his shirt over his head.

He smirked as he threw his shirt on the floor, exposing his lean and well built torso. His lips met mine again he gently pushed me back onto the bed.

His kisses trailed down, hot and lustful, to the corner of my mouth.

He kissed my neck with hot kisses, trailing down to my collar bone.

I moaned as he gently bit my shoulder and my hands gripped his back, trying to pull him closer.

He looked up at me, hunger and lust in his eyes as he licked his lips, obviously enjoying the feeling of my nails biting into his skin with barely controlled lust.

His hands moved down until they grabbed the hem of my shirt and started tugging it up.

I gasped as it went over my head, leaving me in just my bra.

"God you're beautiful," he whispered, his eyes trailing all over my body.

I blushed as his lips met my neck again and his kisses started trailing down, landing on my stomach.

I gasped as his fingers hooked the sides of my jeans and he started pulling them down.

I grabbed his hands, stopping him.

"Stop Percy," I whispered as he continued to kiss my stomach.

"What?" He looked up at me sharply, obviously surprised by my sudden change in demeanor.

I blushed and turned away from his gaze, embarssed.

"We can't do that...we can't do this," I whispered, gesturing to us.

"But Amb..."

"I'm with Thomas, Percy."

"You told me you were breaking up wth him," Percy said, his dark eyes still filled with lust.

"I know and I will. But...it's not right to do this. Not when I'm with him," I replied.

Percy watched me in silence, his eyes confused and dark. Almost unreadable.

Then he sighed and sat up, his head in his hands.

I watched him, angry with myself for not being able to give him what he really wanted.

"Percy?" I asked, staring at him.

His eyes flickered over to me, still half naked. "Mmh?"

"I love you," I whispered, turning so that my back was to him. I clutched the pillow under my head, waiting for his reply as my eyes grew heavier.

"I love you too Amb," he said, his voice fading as sleep took over.

I stared at my alarm clock, the digits glowing an ugly green.

03:23.

My eyes stared blankly at it as the memory returned. I bit my lip, clutching my pillow.

Then Lowell muttered something inaudible and his strong grip on my waist tightened.

I smiled at his familiar warmth, turning until I faced him.

His eyes were shut, yet his arm was draped over my waist as if he were afraid of losing me.

His hair was a mess and the covers stopped at his waist, his lean and muscled torso shining in the pale light.

He wore no shirt, often complaining that I put out lots of heat during the night and coupled with the thick covers I loved so much, he would die of heat stroke if he slept with a shirt.

His face was peaceful and his eyelids occasionally fluttered, his tanned skin highlight his dark lashes.

I smiled at his peaceful beauty and giggled softly as his muttered something again.

"You awake?" He breathed suddenly, his eyes cracking open.

I smiled, touching my forehead to his.

He smiled back at me, his eyes dazed.

"Did I wake you?" I asked, my eyes alert.

He shook his head slowly and blissfully.

"Thought I heard someone laughing. Just wanted to check you weren't going crazy," he murmured.

I laughed loudly at this and his eyes shone brighter in the dark.

"I'm fine. Not going crazy so you have no need to worry," I laughed.

His smiled, his eyes already drooping.

"Now go back to sleep. It's too early to wake up," I whispered.

He nodded once again, his eyes only open a crack.

He muttered something again as his arm squeezed me lovingly, but this time I heard his words.

I Love you Ambrosia.

"I love you too Lowell," I murmured, kissing the tip of his nose as he drifted off back to sleep.

I smiled as I watched him and soon enough my eyes started drooping.

Darkness took over, taking away unpleasant memories and leaving me in a peaceful slumber.
