My heart squeezed as I watched him tangle his fingers in another girls hair. He smirked at her, then leaned in again. Everything faded as his lips met hers and they leaned further back into the couch, their lips never once leaving each other.

She sat on his lap, her hands cupping his cheeks as her lips continually met his. Instead of pulling away, he leaned closer, his grip tightening.

His other hand strayed to her waist as he pulled her closer.

Even over the loud music, I heard the girls words as she pulled away.

"Don't you have, like, a girlfriend?" She asked, as if she cared. Her voice was shrill and snobbish.

"I do," he replied nonchalantly, leaning in again.

The girl put her hand up, stopping him. "Won't she be,like, mad if she finds out we were making out? I am so not messing around with a guy if his girlfriend will go all psycho on me later."

He smirked, his blue almost black eyes shining mischievously.

"She won't ever find out babe," he replied, leaning closer.

His eyes suddenly met mine and widened as he stood up abruptly, throwing the girl off his lap.

"Hey!" She protested.

But he ignored her as his eyes met mine again.

"Amb wait! I can explain!" Percy called, making his way towards me.

He struggled to get past the crowd, people knocking into to him.

I shook my head, tears welling at the corners of my eyes as I raced into the sea of dancing bodies, melting into the crowd.

"One ice cream and fries," Lowell said, setting down a sundae and a large order of greasy fries.

"You don't actually expect her to eat that do you?" Robin said, crumpling her nose at the fries.

"It's delicious. Surely whatever diet you're on can make an exception for delicious food?" He shrugged, sliding in next to me. His hand intertwined with mine and he gave me a reassuring squeeze.

"Amb, are you seriously going to eat this? Hey- earth to Ambrosia!" Robin said, snapping her fingers before my nose.

"Huh?" I looked up, blinking from my daydream,"Sorry. I kinda zoned out."

"You remember something else?" Lowell asked, his eyes sparkling gently.

I had been recovering from my coma and although most of my memories had returned, others were slowly catching up.

I contemplated telling them, then decided against it.

"Remember something? Nah," I said, grabbing a fry and dipping it in the ice cream, smiling,"I was just thinking about some silly project I never finished."
