Nicholas Rush x reader (please read A/N)

A/N: For anyone who doesn't know; Rush is Robert Carlyle's (actor who plays Rumple) character in a show called Stargate Universe (pic at top). He was a genius teacher turned scientist for a project for the government. He is now stranded on a ship called Destiny in outer space with many others. The only way back is by the use of 'communication stones' that allow you to switch bodies. They can travel from Destiny to nearby planets by using Stargates (basically they jump through teleports) If you have any questions feel free to ask.

Your POV

I was at the Pentagon early the next morning. The government doesn't take very well to it's employees being late.

I had just sat down in my desk, coffee in hand, when my boss came busting through the door. "Dr. L/N, come with me."

I sat down my coffee and followed her into the hall. She was walking at a very fast pace and I was practically jogging to keep up.

"L/N, one of the citizens aboard Destiny has a father who is dying here, on earth. I need to to change bodies with her for a today. You will be returning tonight."

I swallowed. I had heard stories about the star ship, Destiny, and it's residents. I had also heard about the communication stones they used to switch bodies with people on earth. I was about to meet all these things first hand.

Communication Stone

She sat me down in a chair and I placed my hand on the stone before me. I felt weird for a second and I clenched my eyes shut. When they opened I saw a woman sitting across from me.

"Hi Dr. l/n. I'm Camilla Wray. Welcome to Destiny." She stood up as led me out of the room. I heard Camilla was the leader of the citizens on Destiny. She was a strong leader, and very proud.
