Heavy breathing down the line.
You picked it up and saw my sign.
The simple tiny little thing don't fit
Like a glass smashed bit by bit;
My heart that glass so watch yourself.
Heavy foot fall need not stealth;
But you the thief need silence marked
Until our lips crash when fuses sparked.
Ignight my bones and watch me burn,
Till I touch your hand and watch your turn.
Like child's music box you come to life.
Innocence in all harsh light torn away by rife.
unacceptable, distance too much for feet
But yet we count, and wait for a 60 second meet.
Some days feel like hours but some weeks like months,
With you by my side each day apart is a bump
But though speed bumps may slow down car
We don't count the miles or how far.
We count the time together not apart.
'But yet' you say 'but without heart'.
I pull away and at arms length you cry
You grasp at my wrists and try oh try.
To pull me in close; distance already a threat.
I stand listless lifeless as you recall the day we met,
The day that you pulled me up out of that hole
And pushed me and made me fit for my role.
Till now I stand tall and tell you in proud
Of you and of I for fighting the crowd.
