I was sitting in my cell when he came back.
" Oh Rebecca is beautiful." I jumped to the bars and reached for him. My skin started to burn from the bars. The smell of singed flesh floated to my nose.
" Stay the hell away from her." I said my tone lethal.
" She cried at the mention of your name. And it's been five years. She really does love you. " he said and I yanked back from the bars.
" Watch that temper." He said and smiled.
" If you go anywhere near her. I will kill you. " I said and he vanished.
" Austin, I don't think you understand yet. You can't get away." His voice echoed. I closed my eyes and then punched the bar. It dented then smoothed itself out.
" Damn it." I said and punched the wall. It didn't do much. I threw myself on the floor. I closed my eyes. " Rebecca, I will be back. " I said to myself and I felt the sun warm my face. Wait the sun?! My eyes shot open and I sat up. I was in a field. There were flowers everywhere and they were in a array of colors ranging from red to purple. The trees were at the edge of meadow.
" Austin?" I heard and spun around. The sun blinded me for a moment. I closed my eyes and rubbed them.
" Are you okay?" I heard her ask and she touched my arm. I felt the shock shot through my body at her touch.
" Yes. I'm fine. Is this a dream?"
" I don't know.." She said. I opened my eyes and Rebecca stood there. Her hair was curly and was pulled back besides her bangs. Which covered the right side of her face. She was wearing a blue dress. It was laced up in the back and tied in a bow. The front was laced and the laces were cris crossed. The dress fluffed out and stopped just above the ground. She had sharp eyes. They were bright and mesmerizing. Her face was a creme color and her cheeks held blush. She was wearing bright red lip stick. Her hat was blue and covered her face from the blazing sun.
" Austin, where are you?"
" I'm right here." I said and she looked over her shoulder. I glanced and saw there was a cloud of black moving through the forest.
" No.." Rebecca said her voice trailing. She grabbed my hand and pulled me behind her. She ran away from the black cloud.
" What are you doing!" I yelled and she looked back. Her mouth formed words but no sound came out.
" I can't hear you! Rebecca!" I pulled her to a stop. She looked to me then kissed me. The world slowed and I wrapped my arms around her waist. I pulled back and her eyes were shining. I frowned and tears rolled down her cheeks. I reached to touch her but then my hand went through. She looked down and reached to touch me. Her hand went through my chest. I looked back to her and tried to hug her. As my arms enclosed her. She vanished.
" Rebecca!" I called and the black cloud surrounded me. I heard her scream.
" REBECCA!" I yelled louder and then the black cloud split. She was tied up. Her arms were held above her head. Her ankles tied. Her dress was torn. Her make up was smudged.
" Rebecca!!" I yelled and ran to her. I was a few feet away. Then she burst into flames. She screamed and the flames encircled me. It started closing in. I dropped to my knees and let the flames consume me. And my broken heart.
