The door slammed shut and I pulled it open only to get a face full of blood.
" Damn it Jace!" I yelled and moved through the door. Jace my apprentice turned to me and smiled. His arm was healing from the arrow trap.
" I'm fine, Sir." He said and I rolled my eyes.
" My name is Xavier. Call me that. Not Sir for the last time tonight." I said and he nodded again. I walked past him and my phone started going off.
" Hello?" I asked as I removed the phone from my pocket to my ear.
" It's Chris. "
" I need a favor from you." I said " I need for you to work with Adam." I finished.
" Wait. So let me get this straight. You want me to carry out the deal?" He asked pausing.
" Yes. I do."
" But I've never meet the guy!" He yelled.
" Well it doesn't matter now go." I said and hung up. Jace walked over to me and leaned against the wall.
" Where shall we go now?"
" First we're going to stop by Rebecca's old place and see if we can find something to figure out where Derek could be." I said and we turned around and walked back out the door. Just as the police stormed the street.
" GET DOWN ON THE GROUND AND PUT YOUR HANDS UP!!!" They yelled aiming their guns.
" What do we do?" Jace whispered to me.
" Do as they say." I said and got down on the ground. Then I heard a gun fire and felt shock waves erupt all over my body before I blacked out.
*GABES POV*
I awoke to the sound of voices.
" Austin were glad you're back. "
" I'm glad to be back. Although where is Gabe and Rebecca?" I heard Austin ask and I opened my eyes. I found myself in the floor at the bottom of the stairs. I tried to get up but fell back down. My body was in so much pain. I'm not suppose to fight still so pushing my body like I did isn't the best idea in the world. I let out a groan and the voices stopped.
" Who's there?" I heard Rose call out.
" Ga-.... Gabe..." I said and felt pain rise to my throat cutting off any further communication.
" Gabe?" Rose asked walking into view. " Gabe! Oh god what happened?" She asked kneeling by my side and flipping me over. She placed my head in her lap and she stroked my hair.
" Der..... Derek...." I said struggling to keep myself awake.
" Gabe? Stay with me now." Rose said and I looked to her and saw my eyes were closing without my knowing.
" Gabe!" Rose yelled.
" That's it Gabe. Fall asleep." And that was the last thing I heard before I blacked out.
