"How was the day in the orphanage?, all set for the performance", asked manik turning to her putting his seat belt.

Nandini keeps quiet for a while thinking of the unusual behaviour of the kids.

Manik looked at her confused.

"Bull?", he asked her again.

"yeah, it was good and I am ready just little nervous.", she said to him and started the car.

Manik looked at her for a while.

"Are you sure there's nothing more I should know?", Manik asked her suspicious.

she turned at him for a second before turning back to the roads.

"yes manik, stop looking at me this way there's nothing more", Nandini said him with a small smile.

Manik nodded and looked outside the window.

"I should have told him everything instead of hiding it. Last time he was very angry when he came to know things afterwards. I will tell him in the garden at night. At first, I need to know the reason for which the kids got upset. There is no reason for there weird behaviour which i can remember.", Nandini thought looking at him.

" I know I am very good looking and handsome that u can't seem to take off your eyes from me but if u keep staring at me this way then we might get into an accident baby bull.", manik said turning to her with a smirk.

"Idiot", Nandini said to him annoyed and turned away.

"Don't get annoyed, u can stare at me at home I wont say anything. Promise!!!", Manik said her with an amusing smile.

" I wasn't staring, I was thinking something.", Nandini answers him.

" I know better.", manik said her smirking and then gets back to his phone.

Nandini parked the car and both went inside.

Both the families were sitting in the living room and were enjoying. They walked near them and got seated beside them.

"Manik clear all your meetings for day after tomorrow. I wont agree to any work calls of yours on ur engagement.", Nyonika warned him.

" Mom I am getting engaged in evening. I have an early meeting, I will finish it and then no work calls I promise.", Manik said her politely trying to change her mind.

"No excuses manik. Its your engagement, Cabir talk to him.", Nyonika said him.

Cabir looks at manik and manik glares at him.

"Don't worry aunty, he wont go anywhere and I am taking the responsibility of it.", cabir said smirking making manik glare at him harder.

Nyonika smiles at this and turns to Nandini and starts talking.

They left to their rooms after dinner.

Nandini was trying to think what went wrong that the kids became angry.

She came down lost in thoughts and went towards kitchen.

She bumps with someone and comes out of her thoughts.

"where are u lost?", manik asked her.

She nodded in no and smiled. Manik got a phone call and moved aside.

She took out the milk container and was pouring milk. She glanced at manik and saw him angry and worried in the phone.

She looks at him confused and approached him.

She keeps her hand on his arm and he turns to her and keeps the phone down.

"What's wrong?, Who was on the call", Nandini asked him.
