"Would you be okay if I back out?"

Nandini sits on her bed and keeps looking at her door or phone every 2 min.

"I am sober for him. If he ditches me and sleeps then I am gonna kill him.",Nandini mutters as she checks that its already 15 minutes.

"I should call him.",she said and picks her phone.

"What if he is really tired and fell asleep or worse he thinks i m being desperate. ",Nandini wonders as she walks in her room.

She stumbles and frowns at the heels.

She quickly removes them and throws them away.

She rubs her feet as she sit on the bed waiting for him.

"I should go to his room. He can't do anything.",She said with a sigh.

"But first I need to change.",She said and moved her hairs aside.

"Do you need help with that?",Manik asks her as he jumps into her room.

She screams and he immediately put his hand over her mouth walking near her.

She calms down and he removes his hand.

"You scared me. For how long were you there. You could have come through the door or knocked. What if i was in the middle of changing.",nandini asked him.

"I came just now and I locked my door so that no one comes in while i am gone. You should lock the windows and door before changing. ",He explains and she nods glaring at him.

" Do you need help with that? ",Manik asks pointing to her dress.

" No I will manage without your help. Stay here, I will get changed in a minute.",Nandini said picking her night wear and walking towards the bathroom.

Manik looks around her room and sighs seeing the mess.

He looks at the laundry basket and puts all the clothes lying in the bed and chair inside.

He picks her heels and put it in the corner.

He arranged the dressing and smiles looking at the much cleaner room.

Nandini walks out rubbing her face with the towel and sees the room.

"Did you clean it?",Nandini asks him and he nods.

" You didn't have to. I would have done it myself.",Nandini said putting the towel on the bed and sitting beside it.

Manik eyes the towel on the bed.

" Its fine.",Manik said and picked the towel and hanged it in the bathroom.

"Manik",Nandini called for him.

"I am sorry. I just like things kept in place.",manik said walking to her and standing in front of her.

"Its fine. So what are we supposed to do. Its almost 4:30.",she asks him as she lay on the bed and looks at him.

"You tell me.",he asks her as he sit beside her.

She turns to him.

"We can just be like this and stare at each other.",Nandini offered staring at him.

"That would either make me shy or kiss you. If that's what you want.",Manik said staring back at her.

" Maybe.",she whispers back.

" You are in a good mood.",Manik said with a smile.

" It maybe cause I am getting married today to the most amazing person I know.",she said and he smiles and drops a kiss on her cheeks.
