All the decorations was going on for the party in the hall. The elders were busy remembering their old times and having fun.

The younger clad was gathered in a room. Cabir was lying with his head on nandini's lap and navya was sleeping with her head on his stomach.

Mukti and alya were sitting with manik and abhi and dhruv on the bean bags.

"Abhi did u talk with arya?", nandini asked him.

"No why?",abhi asked her.

"He didn't wish me today and his call is also not reachable.", nandini said him.

" He will call u when he gets time. Maybe he is busy with somethings.",abhi said her and she nodded.

"Manik, is anybody from ur office coming for the party?",cabir asked him.

"No, only her friends .",manik said him.

"I talked with dad and asked him to postpone the engagement for a day and not to announce it today in the media about it.",cabir said him.

Manik nodded at him.

"Thank you", nandini said to cabir.

Cabir smiled at her.

"U didn't want anyone to know from the office about it before the event and i will make sure no one knows.",he said holding her hand which was massaging his head and kissed her palms.

"My headache is gone now and i am feeling better. Thanks",cabir said to her.

"Bhai", mukti called him loudly realising something.

"Yes",manik said turning to her.

"I don't have a dress for the function.",mukti said him.

"U just went for shopping in the morning.", manik asked surprised.

"But i got dress only for today's party. U are coming with me for shopping tomorrow.",mukti said him and he looked at her shocked.

"Even i need a dress.",navya said him.

"Me too",alya added.

"I am not going anywhere,i have so much work at office.",manik said to them.

"Navya go with cabir, also he don't have any work and alya and mukti u take abhi and dhruv like always.",manik suggested them.

"Manik he don't know anything about dresses. He says yes for every dress i choose.",navya said him.

"And this two are no help. They keep asking when we are leaving in every five minutes.",alya said him.

"And u promised us. Also we need a dress for event too.",mukti said him.

"Okay fine after i come back from work we will do shopping.",manik said them.

They smiled and nodded.

"Nandini what are u wearing today in the party?", Alya asked her.

"Traditional.", nandini said her.

"Traditional? But u wore western in the morning.",navya asked her.

"Mom likes me in traditional and dad in western.", nandini said her.

"Why ?",abhi asked her.

"Dad thinks western dresses makes me look strong,confident and reflect my bold side. He likes seeing me as an independent girl who can do anything for her dream and according to him western dress is the best choice for me and he wants me to wear western always.", nandini said them.
