Olivia walked into her home trying to be as quiet as possible. She thought she was home free until she heard a low angry voice.
"Olivia. Carolyn. Pope."
Shit.
Olivia's POV:
I slowly turned around to face the angry face of my farther. I gulped a little scared to be honest. He'd never hit me I know that but the man's voice is terrifying."Hey, Daddy." I give him a weak wave trying to hide the fact that I'm about to possibly shit myself.
"Where were you? You didn't come home." His voice was deep and raspy and his eyes were stone cold black.
"I was at a friends house." I try to be as vague as possible. Of course my dad would jump to conclusions.
"We're you off with a boy?"
Oh, if only you knew who I was with.
I shake my head, "No it was one of my girlfriends."
Damn that sounds weird.
"Girl friends with the space in the middle not actually a girlfriend. You wouldn't like that much." I say nervously.
He gives me a skeptical look.
"Olivia were you with a girl? You remember our conversation right? You shall be with a boy and a boy only. If I find out you were with a girl I swear I'll-"
"Daddy she's just a friend."
Liar.
"She better be." He growls. I gulp nervously. He moves closer to me. "I'm only this hard in you because I love you. You know that right?"
I nod my head and hug him back. He places a soft kiss on my head.
Shit. I hope I don't smell like Mellie.
"Go on and get ready for school." He kisses me on my forehead then sends me on my way.
I trot up the stairs and into my room. Once the door was closed I let out a relieved breath.
That was a close one.
***
Mellie's POV:
I come out of the locker room after putting on my cheer leading uniform. I smile to myself. Liv loves my uniform.I don't go straight to practice though, The first place I go in the morning is my baby's locker. I stroll through the hallways getting a lot of friendly hello's from people I don't like or know but thats the last thing on my mind.
I was just about to turn the corner when I feel arms wrap around my waist.
"Hi Fitz." I say to him.
He kisses me on my neck, which doesn't really get a rise out of me. Not like how Liv does it anyway.
I have to break up with him. I just don't know how to. I don't want to hurt him.
"Hey. You didn't call me yesterday, to tell me you made it home safe. You didn't call."
"Fitz, I have to talk to you about something." I look around at my surroundings. It's quite crowded.
"Meet me after school in the back of the gym okay. We'll talk there."
He nods in agreement with me. I can see he's skeptical about the meeting but I don't give him a chance to ask any questions.
I turn the corner and head straight to Olivia's locker. The first thing I hear is her infectious laughter. She's talking to her best friend Abigail. Me and Abigail aren't really that close but I tend to think she's a nice girl.
