Chapter 20:Touchy Feely

"Liv you have to eat something. You have work and all of that." Madison coached as she handed Olivia a bowl of cereal she made.

"Yeah, eating. I forgot." Liv said taking the bowl of cereal. She ate one spoon full then zoned out again. Madison had no idea what she was thinking about, but she seemed out of it.

Out of options at this point Madison went into the kitchen grabbing a wooden spoon. She smacked the spoon down on Liv's thigh causing the girl to yelp.

"Madison what the hell!?" Liv fussed as she rubbed her stinging leg.

"You need to eat!" Madison fussed back. She picked up a spoon full of cereal and shoved it in Olivia's mouth.

"Chew it!"

Olivia chewed up the cereal and swallowed.

"That hurt Madison." Liv said eating another spoonful. Together the two girls ate breakfast silently. Liv was still dealing with her farthers death and the worst part for her was that she was chosen to give the eulogy.

"Madison. I dont know what to say." She mumbled looking over at her little sister. "I dont know what to say about my dad."

Madison placed a small hand on her shoulder gently squeezing it.

"You'll think of something great."

"I chose to come because I hate summer camp." Madison explained to Malcolm who was working with Liv. Malcolm and Olivia stayed close even after the break up, mostly because both of them were going through a break up.

Abby had dumped him for a guy named David and sped off into the sunset. Then hadn't heard from her in a while.

"How do you hate summer camp!? Thats free food! I'm offended." Malcom teased ruffling Madison's hair.

"Well if you like it that much you should work there instead of a hospital." She playfully pushed him away from her, fixing her hair.

"Malcolm I need a small favor from you." Liv interrupted not knowing she just stepped into their conversation.

"You have horrible timing Olivia. We were talking." Malcolm joked.

Olivia looked to her side to see Madison standing next to Malcolm.

"I'm sorry, I didnt mean to interrupt its just that Georgie is throwing up again." She sifted through the stacks of paper in her hand. She pulled out a small file showing it to Malcolm.

"He's throwing up blood again. I already have him stable but since he's your patient his mom asked for you."

Malcolm nodded and took the file saluting the girls goodbye. Liv ruffled her sister hair before she turned the corner going into the nurses station.

When Madison turned around she came face to face with Mellie. She didnt even know Mellie was supposed to be there.

"I'm looking for Olivia. Do you know where she is?" She asked. Madison remained silent. She had disliked Mellie ever since she was old enough to realize what happened.

"I dont know where she is. She just left."

Mellie knew she was lying. She could see it in her hazel eyes.
