"Mellie!! Get up! Get up!" Olivia squealed hopping in the bed with her crutches. Mellie stirred in her sleep.
She opened her eyes to see Olivia hopping up and down in bed. She thought nothing of it until she realized that Liv, her fiance was jumping up and down in bed, on crutches with a broken ankle.
Her eyes popped open, "Olivia!!" She yelled frantically, "How did you get up there?"
Olivia giggled, "Well I took my crutches climbed in the bed and stood up. Now I hop." She said bouncing in the bed.
"Olivia, doesn't your leg hurt?" Mellie asked looking up as Liv struggled to keep her balance.
"Yeah, it hurts alot." Liv smiled brightly bouncing in the bed. Mellie shook her head. Olivia was the only person she knew that would break their ankle and do the exact thing that broke their ankle the next day.
"Olivia baby please get down before you kill yourself." She got out of bed moving to Liv's side.
Liv leaned into Mellie's arms. She helped the girl out of bed placing her in her wheelchair next to the bed.
"I hate this wheel chair." She pouted as Mellie pushed Olivia into the kitchen. She lined her up with the kitchen table.
"You hate anything and everything that renders you immobile." Mellie teased taking out breakfast food to cook up. Olivia sat in her wheel chair with her arms crossed.
"Lighten up buttercup and choose sausage or bacon?"

Mellie rolled Liv out into the parking lot. She was still pouting. She'd been pouting all morning. She didn't like the wheel chair, she wanted to walk on her own.
"Livvie you can't pout all day." Mellie stopped by the passenger side door of her car.
"Yes I can."
Mellie put the breaks on Liv's wheelchair stopping her from moving. Her face frowned in frustration. Liv met her glare with the same face. It was a staring battle between the two.
"If that bottom lip pokes out anymore today I'll thump it with my finger." Mellie threatened her. Her face was very serious, she really would.
And Olivia did just that poking out her bottom lip in a pout. Mellie quickly popped her mouth.
"Ouch! You said you'd thump it!" Liv whined putting her hand over her mouth.
"I lied." She took Liv out of her wheel chair and helped her into the car.
"Come on were going out. Lighten up buttercup." Mellie teased starting up the car and pulling off into the busy streets of California.
"Where are we going?" Liv asked, her excitement getting the better of her. She actually forget she was supposed to be mad.
"You'll see." That's all Mellie told her. That's all she was getting. Olivia slumped down into the passenger seat as they drove down the street.
"Is this really how you're gonna treat the birthday girl?" Liv teased.
"Your birthday is three days away. Nice try pumpkin."
Liv signed in defeat. She hated not knowing things.
