Mellie was quick to jump off of Sasha using a blanket to cover her.

"Olivia I-"

"Save it Mellie! I asked you! I asked you if you still loved her!" The girl screamed holding in her tears. She would not cry, not in front of them.

"I don't. I love you Liv, only you."

Olivia looked over at Sasha. The blondie had a smirk on her face wrapped in the blankets of the bed.

"Then why are you in bed with her?"

The room went silent. Liv waited for Mellie to answer but it never came.

"And to think that I was going to marry you. Wow." Liv stood on her crutches looking down at the engagement ring on her finger. She twirled the ring around her finger.

"Liv. I'm sorry. I love you, I-"

"Save it Mellie." Olivia turned around moving toward the door.

"Liv! Olivia, baby!" Mellie cried as Liv left the room. Olivia ignored her cries and kept moving. She didnt even attempt to look back, even when she heard frantic footsteps behind her.

She was almost to the door when she felt hands wrap around her waist. She was pulled into Mellie from behind. Soft lips met her forehead.

"Livvie please. Please, I'm sorry." Mellie begged.

"On my birthday Mellie. You did this to me on my birthday!" Liv's eyes began to water and her tears fell. She pulled away from Mellie moving toward the door.

Mellie tried to get her to come back but she left. The girl fell to her knees in tears. She looked toward the door spotting a shiny figure on the ground. She reached for it realizing it was Olivia's engagement ring.

She held the ring close to her not caring about her loud weeps. Sasha came up behind her placing her hand on her shoulder.

"You didnt need her anyway. It was always supposed to be me and you."

Mellie pulled away from the girl. "Get the hell out!" She cried through her weeps. Sasha huffed and scurried out of the door. Mellie was left crying on her apartment floor. Her and Liv were over, all because of her.

3 months Later:
Mellie walked through the door of Stanford University. For some reason she hoped to see Liv walking the halls, but it was rumored that Liv went back home with her dad.

Mellie didnt know for sure. Her and Liv haven't talked in months. The last she seen her was when Liv came back to get her stuff. She was in and out in five minutes flat and didnt even bother looking at her.

Mellie was now all alone except for her brother. She had no one. She was alone.

Liv sat at her kitchen table as her farther made breakfast. She knew that today was the day Mellie started college. She wished she was there with her, but her heart wouldn't allow her to go to her.

She was too broken. That was the woman she wanted to marry and was going to marry had it not been for Sasha and her ex-fiance.

"Liv I know your heart break is still fresh but you have to eat princess."

"Later." Liv mumbled before getting up and walking up stairs to her room. Rowan heard the door slam then a loud crash. He knew she most likely threw something so he let her be.

Liv looked at the shattered lamp on her floor. She collapsed onto her bed face first letting out a loud scream into her pillow. That screamed quickly turned into a weep.

No matter how hard she didnt want to, she knew she loved Mellie. She would always love Mellie. Mellie was it for her, but she also hurt her. And the heartbreak that came with that pain was unbearable.

She weeped and weeped until she ran out of sobs and tears. She turned over on her side. The first thing she spotted was a picture of her and Mellie freshman year hugging each other.

Just like that her anger was back. She slammed the picture down on her dresser ignoring the shattered glass falling from the broken photograph.

She stayed in the bed the rest of the day. By the time Rowan came back to get her to eat she was fast asleep with tracks of tears coming from her eyes.

Olivia never contacted Mellie. She completely disapperead from the girls life only leaving her engagement ring behind. Mellie was miserable. She had tried contacting Liv but she never picked up her phone.

As she layed there on her bed she glanced at her phone. She worked up enough courage to pick up her phone and dial Olivia's number. The phone rang for what seemed like forever until she heard someone answer.

"What?" The voice growled. That did not sound like her Olivia. She could hear the anger in her voice.

"Livvie-"

"You dont get to call me that anymore. You lost that right a while ago. Don't you remember Sasha Mellie?" Liv shot through the phone.

Mellie sighed into the phone,"I miss you baby" She paused before she continued,"I love you."

"Dont...Dont do that. I'm done, I told you I was done we're over. Leave me alone." With that the phone call ended and Mellie was left with the continuous ring of the dial tone.

Mellie sat holding the phone in her hand. Tears streamed down the girls eyes. She gripped the phone tightly as she cried not caring that she was ruining her make up.

She missed her. She made a mistake, but Liv wasn't having it. She was done, it was over and the thought of never being with Liv again broke Mellie. She curled into a ball in her bed letting herself cry.

She cried for her lost lover. She knew that, that phone call was it. This was good bye to their relationship, it was good bye to them. And the revaluation of it just made her cry more.

"Good-Bye's are not forever. Good-Bye's are not the end. They simply mean I MISS YOU until we meet AGAIN."
