*Lazy ass time skip*
Peridot had said her goodbyes as the crystal gems left the barn, they had just finished baby proofing the place for malachite. Peridot had to admit the gemling was cute but at the same time annoying.
Peridot had put malachite in her crib for a nap and was currently watching CPH the episode was getting really good,suddenly she heard crying "Ugh why did have to wake up now?" the green gem grumbled in annoyance. She got up and walked to the location of mala's crib, "greetings malachite" once the infant heard the familiar voice she ceased crying.
Thought there were still tears falling from her eyes, "Now then I know what will cheer you up!" Peridot picked up the small gem the way Greg showed her. The green gem made her way back to the tv and sat down, along with malachite who cuddled close to peridot. Within a few minutes malachite had stopped crying completely and fell asleep in Peri's arms.
Peridot noticed this but dusky put them gemling back in her crib. Instead Peridot kissed the gemling on the forehead and kept her with her has she watched CPH. She felt that strange feeling again.
