Peridot's P. O. V
I approached her, I wanted to give her a piece of my mind and ask her the questions I had and there was a lot of them. "Lapis" the blue gem turned around quick she didn't say anything. I sat next to her, it was silent for a moment then I asked her why she left.
She replied saying that 'she couldn't stay there with the gemling and how she didn't want to leave it alone to die so she left it with me'.
I also asked her questions like 'did you give birth to her?' or 'are you coming back'. She said no to both, I felt sorry for Jasper having to birth that gemling. Speaking of Jasper, I asked lapis where jasper was she quickly said she doesn't know.
She asked how malachite was doing and I said she's doing great. Then lapis frowned and sighed, also muttered something about her keeping malachite. She asked me to give malachite back so that she can "take care" of malachite herself.
There was something about the she said that so I said no, lapis looked more angry she told me that I shouldn't protect something so horrible and worthless. That made me mad, how could she sit there and say that? I don't care if it's malachite it's still a baby and it's clearly isn't that same terrifying fusion.
I told her some words Steven was forbidden to say and I meant it. She flew off, I hope Jasper is okay she might be a brute but she isn't as bad as Lapis.
Present~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Peridot took malachite home, she decided to keep malachite close. The gemling mewed and purred, Peridot couldn't help but smile "you must like being close to momma huh? I bet you do! My little gem" this made malachite smile.
Peridot almost had a nonexistent heart attack when she saw the gem smiled it was like being tackled by a bunch of soft kittens. Amethyst walked it and smiled when she saw the two, peridot looked over at amethyst and gave her a simple smile.
"Hello amethyst!" Peridot said as she walked to the purple gem. Amethyst noticed how close Peridot was holding malachite as if someone was able to snatch the gemling from her. "Hey peri..Can we talk?"
