A/N so this is more of a part two series. And more of a Alec/Y/N friendship imagine than for Jace. I'm hoping to do a part two that will have plenty more Jace in it.

Take a deep breath. You can do this. You are a shadowhunter.
One of the strongest too. You looked at yourself once more checking over your outfit. A black low-cut tank top covered by a black leather jacket, black ripped skinny jeans, and black ankle boots made your figure look good and did well to hide your runes and weapons.
You had just finished a month long mission for the clave and could not wait to go back to the  New York institute where you grew up and trained with your parabatai, friend, and boyfriend.
That's why you were so nervous. Although you were an expert at hiding your emotions around people, it was the opposite when you were alone. Sometimes you just have to look at your face to see what you were feeling. And today you were excited and scared.
What if they have forgotten about me. What if they realized that their lives were so much better without me.
You felt like you should've known better, but your biggest weakness was your life.
You shook your head to rid the thoughts before grabbing your duffel bag full of necessities, and exited the motel room. The room was already paid for so you simply returned the key to the front counter and nodded at the secretary who grew familiar to you in the past month of your living. You checked the time before you left. After all you did have a bus to catch.
The bus ride was a long one. It allowed your silly worries and doubts consume your mind and soon you were convinced that you going home was bad. Like a gut feeling that suddenly won't go away. You tried distracting yourself by looking at the people around you trying to figure out their lives just how they look.
Yes I know better than to judge a book by its cover.
Then a girl caught your eye. There was nothing special about this random girl standing on a bus, except for the fact that she was so pregnant that you could tell that she was struggling to keep all her weight on her feet.
She's probably going to her family so they can take care of her. Maybe she has a husband at home worried sick that she was in any danger or she could give birth to their child at any moment.
A smile grew on your face as you thought of your boyfriend pacing back and forth in his room because he was worried about you. You decided to stand up and walk towards the girl to tap her on the shoulder.
"Excuse me miss, you can take my seat." You said gently to her. You could see that she looked so relieved but her words said different.
"Oh no, I couldn't." She spoke kindly. Your small smile grew a little bit larger because of the nice stranger.
"Please, I insist. My stop is the next one anyways." The stranger let out a breath of relief before sitting while thanking me millions of times.
It felt good. So good for doing a good deed for the world that wasn't killing a demon.
The bus came to a stop and you got off with a crowd. The streets were familiar and you couldn't help but spin around taking in the air. The air of your home.
All your doubts and worries were now overtaken by excitement as you raced home, no longer able to wait.
You reached the front of the institute and the grin on your face was not going anywhere. It was almost midnight, so you knew mostly everyone would be asleep. But you knew of one person you were sure that would be awake.
You stepped into a private office, one for the higher up shadowhunters of the institute. You knocked three times before taking a deep breath and opening the door.
It was impossible for your smile to be any bigger now as you looked at the man seated at the giant desk in the middle of the room. His reading glasses were on the bridge of his nose while he was barley looking up from the paper he was reading to see who interrupted his work.
"Hi daddy." You spoke quietly as you slipped through the door and quietly shut it.
"Princess, you're home." He spoke in his deep voice before putting his paper down to stand up.
You both walked towards each other and embraced in a long, much needed hug.
"I missed you so much daddy." You said into his chest breathing in his father scent you had memorized.
     "As did I princess."
You looked up at his face bodies frowning.
"You have more worry lines. Has the institute been stressful while I've been gone?" You asked reluctantly letting go.  He sighed.
"We've had some... strange events while you've been gone." He answered walking back behind his desk and taking a seat behind his chair. Your frown deepened as you walked to the front of his desk and took a seat scanning the papers that littered the oak wood.
"Strange?  What do you mean strange? And who's Clary Fairchild?" You ask looked as the name seemed to be on numerous of the papers.
"She's a new shadowhunter," He answered meekly. You only were getting more confused by his answers, "it seems as though her mother had kept that detail from her and now she has figured it out, while her mother went missing." You tried scanning the papers for more information.
How could someone not know they were a shadowhunter?
"Actually it was Alexander, Jace, and Isabelle who discovered her. Now they have been aiding her in plenty missions that the clave did not want resulting in more paperwork." He said frowning. You looked at him concerned. He looked exhausted and stressed. You could tell you would not like this Clary girl already.
"Speaking of those three, I'm going to say hi. I haven't talked to the since I left." He looked partially sad but partially relieved that I was leaving as he nodded silently.
"I must get back to work anyway princess. Send my love to you friends."
You kissed him on the forehead before and mumbled a quick goodnight before exiting his office and heading to the bedrooms.
Your mind kept wandering back the girl. Clary Fairchild.
Her name literally has child in it. No wonder why she's acting like one.
You came to a stop at an all too familiar door before you opened to the door quietly in case anyone was sleeping. A smile came across your face as the lights were all out but the shadow of the bed showed a sleeping figure. You crept up to the bed with a smile and a plan formulating to wake the sleeping beauty.
The smile left as soon as it came and the plan washed away as you took a closer look at the bed to see two figures. One was blonde, and handsome as always while the petite figure next to his was new and red headed. Why would a red head be on your spot in your bed while your man has his arms around her? The image made you sick and angry to look at.
This is what I come home to? A red headed whore in my bed?
You were livid but the thoughts from your morning entered your brain.
Maybe life for Jace was better off without me.
The urge to be sick and cry grew as you kept looking at the two figures so you decided it would be best of you left. As you shut the door to your old bedroom a diminish figure was walking by.
"Y/N?" Alec asked. You looked down at the floor to fake a smile on you face as you looked at the man.
"Hey Alec." Alec's face immodestly broke into a grin as he scooped Troy into a deathly tight hug. You giggled at the teddy bear that had a hold on you feeling yourself being comforted.
"When did you get back? Are you here for good or just visiting? What kind of mission were you on anyway? Why-" You couldn't help but giggle at Alec's rant as you cut him off.
"Whoa. Alec chill. I just got back, yes I'm done my missions, and you know better than me telling you information of one of the claves missions." Alec rolls his eyes at the reply but keeps the smile on his face.
"Well sorry if I'm concerned of my friends well being. Especially since I missed her so much." He said before trapping you in another deathly hug making you squeal in surprise.
Your giggles were loud as you told Alec to shut up but that didn't stop a dirt fork opening and closing from down the hall.
"Alec did you finally loose you virginity?" A tired Izzy questioned rubbing hers eyes. Alec rolled his eyes again before putting you down.
"Even better Izz." You answered for the tall boy. This caused the beautiful girl's eyes to shoot open.
"Y/N? You're back? Am I dreaming?" She asked. Coming closer to give you a hug.
"Well I would say I'm more of a nightmare but I'll enjoy being a dream for a day." Izzy squeezed you just as hard, if not harder than Alec before pulling back with the largest grin imaginable on her face.
"I'm so glad your back. We have so much to catch up on." I laughed a little before the thought of the whore in bed came back.
"How 'bout we start with why there is a red headed whore in my bed." I say in a sickly sweet voice. Alec rolls his eyes at the thought while Izzy's eyes widen. She becomes paler than usual as she speaks.
"That's Clary. We just met her." Your anger becomes worse as you figure out that the whore in your bed was the child.
"That's the child! Why are her and Jace so cuddly in my damn bed!" You say angrily. Alec smirks at your comment before it disappears not sure what to say while Izzy held a tight lipped smile.
"You'll really like her when you meet her. Maybe you should just wait until morning. You can sleep in my room for the night." Izzy says trying to resolve the hatred I already started having for the child.
"No thanks. I'm really not tired. Alec you were heading this way right? Why don't I go with you." I demand rather than ask. "Goodnight Izzy." You say before grabbing Alec's arm and dragging him down the hall away from Izzy.
You loved your parabatai, but in times like these you thought she was too trusting and it angered you that she already took the child's side. Alec sighed at your obvious fury.
"I know it's not exactly what you want to hear, but at least someone will be on my side anymore. I hate that little girl and all she's been doing is putting us in danger." He explained as we got into the heart of the institute. Your teeth gritted at the thought of any of your three best friends hurt.
"Well I'll add that to the list of things I already hate about the girl before I meet her. Now tell me where I can apply to get a new room." Alec looked down a little and you could tell he was disappointed of the fact that you and Jace would no longer be a couple. Alec had been yours and Jace's main supporter through his parents and any rules the clave has put against you and Jace. You were forever in his debt because of the things he has helped you through.
"Alec, I'm not breaking up with Jace. I'm just giving him some more space with his whore child while he figures out what he wants in his life. I mean it's obvious by yours and Izzy's reaction they've done more than just sleep in the same bed as each other so." Alec sighed and nodded his head signalling  you was right. You put my head down in disappointment.
A random guy walked up to Alec and whispered some things for a good two minutes before leaving and not even acknowledging me. You looked at him confused.
"What was that about?" You asked while he tried to hide the slight grin appearing on his face while heading to a computer.
"Like Izzy said. We have a lot to catch up on." Alec said entering some things into the computer. "Like how I've become head of the institute." Your face could not conceal its shock and excitement.
"By the angel! That is amazing Alec!" You practically yelled hugging him.
"Yeah yeah. You should hear about the time I almost got married." He replied. You looked up confused as ever. "You up for a late night mission?" He asked again as he heading for the weapons.
"Only if you tell me everything. If your not phased that you almost got married I'm concerned on everything that has happened."
     Alec just laughed.

        }{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{

Your jaw almost didn't want to close as Alec finished tell you all the information you had missed this past month.
Everything with Valentine. Magnus. Clary and Jace were sibling then they weren't. They found Clary's actual brother. Izzy's addiction. Seeing an actual Angel.
Suddenly you turned to Alec to see his smug expression because he left you speechless. Nobody can do that.
"What the fuck Alec. You guys have been living a fucking soap opera and none of you guys fucking called." You whisper yelled before hitting him.
"We didn't know where you were." He reasoned while rubbing the spot you hit him.
"Well it should of been easy after all the shit you've been through." You sassed back. He rolled his eyes but grinned at your naturally sassy response as you guys Wales towards the institute together after demon hunting all night.
You yawned as you grab your weapon of choice and tuned to Alec.
"You fell like fighting it out?" You asked smirking at him. He shrugged.
"It's not like we're getting any sleep now anyway." You smiled as you both headed towards the training room and opened the door. Your smile instantly vanished as you walked in the see your boyfriend and the red headed slut sparring together making flirty comments.
You tried to turn around before they noticed you but couldn't because you walked into the wall that was Alec's chest.
"Talk to him Y/N." he sighed. You were about to make a snarked reply before Jace interrupted.
"Y/N?" He asked scared and a little shocked. You couldn't help but roll your eyes at the blonde.
"Oh you still know who I am. Considering your behaviour from the last month I thought that you thought that I... oh I don't know dropped off the surface of the planet?" You replied. You could see Alec smirk a little as Jace looked down, ashamed.
     "Look Y/N there's a lot that you don't know–."
"Oh unless you're not telling your parabatai things now I know everything." You sassed back not even letting him finish.
"Hey let him finish!" The red headed child yelled at you. You only had to look at her to get her to stand down. Your face was filled with raw fury and hatred that would make Valentine himself proud.
"You don't get to talk to me child." You stated your voice was like nothing even Jace or Alec has heard. The child just gulped in replied. You could see the fury in Jace's eyes because of what you said to the girl.
"Don't talk to her like that!" He yelled at you. You just laughed darkly.
"What are you going to do about it? Sleep with her again?" Jace's body grew more shameful as he understood you knew everything.
"What do you got on me Jace. Nothing you can do anymore will hurt me." You continued. You could feel Alec get uncomfortable with your actions and could even sense the slight bit of fear coming from the boys in the room. The child was filled with fear.
"Clary we should get out of here." Alec stated not sure of what you would do anymore.
"Alec no. I'm have to be here for Jace." She replied. That statement made you explode as you ran to her and tackled her to the wall making her hit her head a fall unconscious.
"Clary!!" Jace yelled running to her.
"That's right go the your whore child. Prove everything I've heard." You spoke venomously. You could hear Alec behind you telling someone to go get Izzy but you didn't care. All you cared about was the scene in front of you.
Suddenly Jace started running to you with his seraph blade in hand and his anger fuelling him. You couldn't help but smirk darkly as you prepared yourself for the fight that was about to happen.
Jace may have been strong but with your rage, you could've defeated anything at this moment. And you did.
Soon Jace was on the ground, his seraph blade on the other side of the room. You were on top of him punching his face back and forth.
Left. Right. Left. Right. Left. Right.
He had already gave up and was taking the pain as he deserved it. It wasn't that long before Alec pulled you off of Jace's bloodied body causing you to spit on him. Izzy had been taking care of the cild in the corner while The tears had escaped long ago leaving you a sobbing mess.
"YOU BASTARD! YOU FUCKING BASTARD." You yelled at the man you loved. He finally looked you straight into the eye, you could then tell the tears had been rolling down his face.
     "I'm sorry." He said.
"Well I'm sorry I came back."
