A Photograph by RedInAWhiteHoodie

The sun was going down, all the vibrant colors created by the suns rays in the sky spilt on to my face. I felt a warm feeling in my heart, and on my sun kissed body. I pedalled faster, enjoying the swift breeze passing by me like a splash of water. I quickly stopped at the bottom of the empty bridge I had gotten to. I leaned my bicycle against the railing and skipped up.

I stopped at the top; the wind rustled the trees while the pink skies added a touch of serenity. I lifted the camera off my neck, angling it to make it the perfect shot. I inched closer and decided to take the photo over the railing.

Five-minutes of toying around with angles and filters, I finally found the perfect shot. This could make or break my entire photography career. I need it to be on point. I took the shot. It came out, but the wind blew my photo away. It was my last piece of film. I felt a tear form in my eye, but I wiped it away.

I dragged myself to the bottom of the bridge to face my defeat. I sighed, closing my eyes to embrace the warmth surrounding me like a blanket. "Ma'am..." I perked up as I listened to running footsteps approaching. "Excuse me, miss!" A boy who seemed my age smiled at me, tired. He was holding my photograph.

I gazed at him and hesitantly took the photo. I blush, my hue matching the elegant sunset. I wave the photo, colors appearing one after another. I grin happily. "Thank you, so much..." I manage to whisper. I feel myself turn hot and my sunkissed skin turn pale.

I've found him, the perfect one. The one I needed all this time...

Finally.
