"they say that true love hurts, well, this could almost kill me" - kesha

Three days in Georgia, three days of those four not speaking to each other, and three days of endless tension through every activity they did. Jessie was sleeping in Charli and Corbyn's room, Zach was sleeping in Jonah and Lee's room and Jack stayed cooped up in now his own room unless it was time to eat. The relationships with everyone became rocky and it was as if everyone was waiting for another secret to be exposed.

"We can't keep going on like this, all of us scared to start the conversation, Jack and Zach look sick, Jessie has a permanent frown on her face, and Leylah just looks dead! I know Leylah and Zach broke up and Jack refuses to even speak to Jessie, what the hell happened?" Emilia said looking out from the back porch. She sat on Daniel's lap in one of the lounge chairs, Jonah, Lee, Corbyn and Charli sitting around in individual seats. Her eyes continuing to glance over to Jessie whom was sitting on the bank of the lake, writing in her journal.

"They just need time, if we need to stay here a little longer than we shall, heartbreak is a tough time. But I think we all can guess what happened." Lee responds and Charli nodded in agreement, not looking up from her sketchbook.

"It's true, give them time, it's not like we're in a rush to New York, New York can wait," Charli said as she erased something on her paper.

"It just sucks because we were all literally so perfect and then-" Emilia abruptly stopped sitting upright, everyone looked at her wondering why she stopped so suddenly. She felt nausea at the pit of her stomach rising and as Daniel was asking if she was okay, she ran off inside the house, barely making it to the bathroom in their bedroom. Jessie was walking up to the back porch as Daniel was running inside after Emilia.

"Are they okay?" She asked and Lee shrugged shaking her head, Jessie took one look at everyone before making her way into the house. She entered the kitchen as Jack was making himself a bowl of cereal. It had been some time since she had stood face to face with the curly haired boy. He looked skinnier, his face pale as if he hadn't seen sunlight in a while and when his brown eyes met hers, all the life and happiness they once held had disappeared leaving soulless eyes to look back at her.

He looked away as quickly as he looked at her and Jessie moved swiftly past him to the refrigerator without a word. As she was bending to reach for a water bottle in the fridge, she heard Jack mumble something to himself. Her head snapped to his direction, watching as he poured cereal into a bowl.

"Something you want to say?" She asked with a lot more attitude than she was planning to speak with. Jack scoffed not taking a chance to look at her.

"No, not that you'll listen anyway."

"Oh, I won't listen? Bullshit Jack, says the one that cheated on me and couldn't even tell me! I had to figure it out!"

It was his turn to frown at her, he slammed down the cereal box not caring of the cereal that flew everywhere.

"I told you I'm sorry Jessie, I've pleaded with you and begged you for forgiveness, I'm pulling out all the stops for you!"

"You're not trying hard enough! If you really are pulling out all of the stops Jack, you aren't doing a very good job! I feel nothing from you or even for you, you had sex with my best friend Jack like how am I-" Jessie paused pressing her fingers to her temple to try and calm herself down. "You're the asshole here, not me!"

"Jessie, I am sorry okay?! I'm fucking sorry! I don't know what else you want me to do, I love you from the moon and back and if I could take back what I did, I would for the rest of my life!" Jack yelled back but Jessie just shook her head coldly.
