Falling for you (BAM FANFIC)

Chapter 17

I was excited to go with Charlie to Wales but of course I was nervous especially to meet everyone. I was also hoping this plan would work.Sophie was sure it would so I just hoped for the best. The day went pretty slow and finally the bell went for school to end. Charlie was going to hang out with his friends for a little while and I was heading home with Sophie to pack a bag "for her house" and she was going to talk to my Mam.

"So do you think your Mam will like me" Sophie asked seeming a bit nervous.

"Welllll your sweet, polite, good in school, CARE about school and want to go to university, yep I think my mother will want to adopt you" I said laughing. It was true, Sophie was everything my mother wanted in a daughter. One thing my mother always tried to change about me was me being a slight tomboy. Getting dressed up with lots of make up and making sure my hair was always perfect just didn't appeal to me. This is why I had a better relationship with my Dad, he understood me more. We watched the football together and before he got promoted we always went to matches together and just hung out like best friends. The promotion changed everything. He was always at work and when he came home he was to tired to hang out. Truth is I missed my best friend. I mean I used to tell my Dad everything but now we are distant and I hate it.

"Emma EMMA" Sophie snapped me out of my thought.

"Stop worrying"

"Huh?" I asked really confused.

"Stop worrying, ... about the plan, everything is going to be fine, trust me"

"Ya a I know I guess I was having doubts".

I didn't want to tell Sophie what I was actually thinking so I went along with what she said. We arrived at my house and my Mams car was parked outside. Atleast she was home, this time I needed her to be here.

"Mam were home". I shouted not knowing where she was.

"Who's we?" she asked.

"Mam this is my friend Sophie, Sophie- Mam". I said.

"It's really nice to meet you mrs Corry" Emma said so politely.

"O sweetheart call me Susan" my mam said. I could tell she already loved Sophie.

"So Mam Sophie invited me to stay at hers this weekend and shes going to show me around more" I said but I saw my mother looking skeptical.

"O and were going to be working on a project for school" I added quicky hoping to change her mind.

"Well I guess getting to know the place more would be a good idea and getting school work done is a bonus so yes you can go" She said.

"Thank you Thank you" I said so excited. The plan worked and I was going with Charlie to Wales. I hugged my Mam and ran upstairs with Sophie and gave her a huge hug to.

"Thank you so much Soph for all your help, my mother loves you"

"It was my pleasure and your mam is so sweet".

"Yaa sweet..." I said laughing.

"Stop she is, now lets get packing.

I packed jeans, pjs, shorts, and Sophie insisted on a dress. (I may be a slight tomboy but if I see dresses I like i'll buy them) toothbrush, brush, makeup, Toms, converse, tops and a few more bits. The bag was bulging.

"Ok well thats it, well thats all that will fit in the bag" I said laughing.

"Well then we are done" Soph said.

"O Charlie just text me" I said opening the text.

" Hey Em i'm running a bit late just come over anytime i'm home"

I read the message and decided to go over.

"Ok well I guess it's time to go" I said happily.

"Ok lets go"

We walked downstairs and said goobye to my Mam. I told her I would text her later and let her know when i'll be home.

I hugged Sophie goodbye and walked to Charlies house. I knocked on the door and his Mam answered.
"Hello you must be Emma" she said happily. "Charlie has told me alot about you"

Really? he has. That made me smile. He told his mam about me which ment he must be happy to be with me.

"It's really nice to meet you Mrs Lenehan"

"O love call me Karen" she said. She led me through to the kitchen and made me a cup of tea. We chatted for a while and it was so nice to talk to her. She was so sweet and so easy to talk to and she was so proud of Charlie and supported him 100% something I wished my mother did for me. Charlie walked down with a small suitcase. He gave me a hug and kissed my cheek which made me blush like crazy. I saw Karen smiling.

"So Emma was your mother ok when you said you would be in Wales for the weekend" she asked. O
crap I didn't see that coming.

"O am I ya she umm" I stuttered.

"Your mother doesn't know?!" she asked startled.

"Umm no she thinks i'm going to be at a friends house for the weekend which I mean isn't a complete lie".

"Emma I can't let you go knowing your mother hasn't giving you permission".

"No Karen wait please, the reason I didn't tell my mother is because she doesn't approve of Charlie yet and if I said I was going away with him she would freak" I said desperate for her to see where I was coming from.

"Mum please let her go nothings going to happen. I'll be their the whole time and so will the boys".

She looked at Charlie then me. "Ok both of you are to text me everyday and if I call answer. If anything happens Emma you will be on the first train back here. Got it"

"Thank you Karen so much"

"It's ok love"

"Now come on and i'll drive you to the train station. I hugged Charlie so happy. "well that was close" he chucked. "Yes yes it was" letting out a sigh of relief.

"Ok well lets get this weekend started".
