*EMMAS POV*

I woke up at 11am and the sub was shining. I realised then it was my birthday. Woah I'm 17. Even though it was my birthday I wasn't in the mood for shopping for a dress or in the mood for a party. Call me dry I don't care. All I could think about was Charlie.

I wanted to be with Charlie so bad. He forgave me and technically we are still together. The only thing stopping us from being together is me being here. I know I can go home any time but I didn't know if I wanted to go back there. Even though I had Charlie Lisa was still there and Anon and the whole Harvey situation. New York is my home, it's where I have spent my whole life. Am I really going to give that up for someone I have know for about a month. Bristol has become like my home as well. I have made friends and I have a boyfriend.

*Ring Ring*

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABE" She yelled sang into the phone. She is way more excited than I am.

"Thanks Amber"

"Woahh for the Birthday Girl you sound like someone died, girl you gotta lighten up"

"Sorry sorry your right" I said pulling myself together. I need to get in a better mood I mean it is my birthday.

"I'll be round in half an hour and then were going SHOPPING" Amber said excitedly.

"I'll be ready, bye Amber"

"Bye Em"

I hung up and then went to get a quick shower. I put on a pair of shorts and a flowy white top and my pink toms. I put light curls in my hair and applied light makeup. By the time I was done the doorbell rang. I ran downstairs and opened the door and there was Amber nearly jumping up and down with excitement.

"I'm just going to grab something to eat and then we can go"

"No need I got ya covered" she said handing me a Starbucks my fav and a chocolate muffin. "Aw Amber this is just what I need" I said smiling and giving her a hug. "Only the best for my best friend on her birthday".

We went into so many shops one after the other. I saw no nice dress so far but I did buy a lot of clothes. We each had 6 bags. We went into Hillarys resteraunt for something to eat. I was so tired and I was losing hope of finding a dress but of course Amber wasn't giving up.

"I think you have forgotten one place we have not been to that has the most amazing dresses everrrr" she said.

"Dream dresses!!!" I exclaimed. Dream dress opened up last year and it has the most amazing dresses. Me and Amber always went in there just to try on dresses which is ok because were really friendly with the owner.

"Exactly Dream dresses, so finish your milkshake and let's goooo" she said dragging out the gooo. I finished and then we went. "SASHA" I yelled running up and hugging her. Sasha's the owner and one of my best friends. "EMMA YOUR HOME WHAT ARE YOU DOING BACK HERE" she said hugging me. "I came back like two days ago and now I'm looking for a dress for tonight"

"O yes HAPPY BIRTHDAY"

"Thanks Sash, so recommend anything" ? I asked. She has the best taste and knows what I look for. She us down the shop.

"Anything on these three rails are your style babe o and whatever you choose is on me, happy birthday and happy shopping" she said smiling. "Wow Sash thank you" I said really shocked. "No problem sweetie gimme a call if you need any help ok" I nodded my head. "Will do" said Amber. "O Amber don't thing I forgot about you to same goes for you any dress babe on me, special occasion this is" "Thanks Sash" Amber said beaming. We both tried on dress after dress. They were all beautiful but nothing has rely stood out at me. I was going through the railings again when I stopped at the most gorgeous dress. I took it off the rack and went to try it on. It was white and strapless. The top was covered in diamonds and the rest was white and flowed. The minute I put it on I knew it was the right dress. I walked out and Amber was standing there. When I walked out her jaw dropped. "WOW Emma, you look amazing and that dress is Wow, that's the one" she said. "It is isn't it" I said admiring the dress. "O Em that's fab" Sasha said and these shoes will be perfect. They were gold sparkly heels and yes they did go perfect. I got the dress and then we left to go home.

Amber left me to get ready. I took another shower, a long relaxing one. I then did my hair. I curled it and clipped it to the side and then did my makeup. The I put on my dress and heels and my jewellery. Amber came to collect me and then we went to hers. When I walked in the door the lights were off. I was wondering why. I knew there was a party but Amber said it was small because her parents said a limit which I understood. She turned the lights on and out popped nearly 100 people. "SURPRISE HAPPY BIRTHDAY" they all shouted popping party poppers. I was really overwhelmed. This was amazing. I turned to Amber and gave her a huge hug. "thank you" I said hugging her. "Anything for you". The party was going amazing. I think I talked to everyone. "SPEECH" someone yelled and I was shoved up onto a small stage. I have no clue where that came from.

"Ok uh hey so I'm not good with speeches so I'll make this quick, thank you guys so much for coming it means so much to me, especially since I moved to England to see you all here is amazing. I am still making up my mind wether I am staying here or going back and that decision to be honest is all up to a certain someone" I said. I was looking down and laughing and when I looked up and I got the shock of my life.

*CHARLIES POV*

It was Emma's birthday. Today was meant to be special. I wanted to make it special for Emma. It was early in the morning about 4am. I was thinking all night and I came to a decision, I have to go I have to go to America. We need to sort this out together. I want to be with Emma. I walked into my Mums room. "Mum I'm going" "Wh what Charlie what are you on about" "I have to go to America, my bag is packed I have to go see Emma, I miss her" I said hoping my mum would understand. "Charlie I understand and I would love you to be with Emma but going to New York on your own" she said. "Mum please please let me go" I said practically begging her. "Ok you can go but Charlie you call me every hour or text me please" she said. "Thank you thank you" !! I said giving her a hug. I called a taxi and it arrived. I got in and left. I already booked my ticket.

When I got to the airport I realised how real it was. I got on the plane and tried to sleep but I was to excited and nervous. The flight was fine. It went by quickly. When I arrived in JFK I got my bags and got a taxi to Emma's house but there were no lights on. I seen her tweet earlier about a party and a few doors down music was blaring so that must be it. I walked in the door. Everyone was in the sitting room listening to someone. Emma was making a speech. I made my way through the crowd. "I am still making up my mind whether I am staying here or going back and to be honest that's up to a certain person" she said. I knew she was talking about me. I was standing right in front of her. When she looked up she saw me and she was in so much shock.

*EMMAS POV*

"Ch Charlie" I said in complete shock. He's here actually here in New York.
