Falling for you (BAM FANFIC)

Chapter 23

I woke up next morning and it hit me that for a week of school and I didn't have Charlie, I had to face Lisa and her cronies for a week but I had Sophie and I was grateful for her being here for me. I got dressed and ready and went downstairs and surprisingly my dad was sitting there with his newspaper and coffee.

"Morning pet" he said with a genuine smile.

"Hey Dad" I said. He's being strange lately like yesterday with the hug and the little speech, I mean what was that. A few years ago that would have been normal but now it's strange. My phone beeped and it was from Sophie, she was outside.

"Bye Dad, Sophies outside" I said grabbing a slice of toast and going.

"Bye love" he said.

I was just at the door and I stopped. My Dad was humming a song and it wasn't the music that he listens to and I knew that song... thats my song!! I was singing it last night. He must have heard me. My dad has never heard me sing, no one has really. I keep it to myself but I want that to change soon.

"Em are you ok" he asked.

"O ya am I just thought I was am forgetting something" I said. I smiled and I felt happy, it kinda felt like I was getting my old dad back and the fact he heard my song and is humming it and not questioning me and lecturing me makes me happy. Maybe my dad might support me

"Hey Soph"I said giving her a hug.

"Hey, I decided to walk with you to school to hear everything about the weekend" she said.

"Yes I was wondering why you came here haha" I laughed at her.

"Well I only live about 5 minutes walk from here anyway, so tell me how was it, was it worth it".

"It was ......... really good" I said hesistating a bit.

"Ok you stalled, what happened? Charlie didn't do anything did he?" she asked cautiously.

"No no God no nothing like that" I said very clearly. "It was really fun and I got to meet all the overload boys and Harvey"

"O M G you got to meet Harvey O MY GOD YOUR SO LUCKY I LOVE HIM SO DAMN MUCH !"she said basically yelling at me.

"Yes I did he's lovely". I said trying to calm her down.

"Ok well get back to talking about Harvey, continue" She said. I had to laugh at her sudden outburst.

"They were all so sweet all the boys and Blair and Harvey, I got on really well with them"

"That's good, what about Leo"?.

"Yaaa Leo not so great" I said draging out the aaa.

"Why what happened" she asked. We had arrived at school but we were early so we sat on the wall and talked.

"I don't know, he just never spoke to me, and when me and Charlie hung out he gave me dirty looks and I heard him talking to Joey about me saying he want's me to go" I said. I felt like crying but I held the tears in. I am not going to cry right now over this.

"But Leo's so sweet I don't get it, he wouldn't get thick just because Charlie and you are dating".

"I think part of the reason why he's angry is because instead ofdoing a twitcam for the fans he hung out with me, that got to him."

"But he must know that you went for the weekend to hang out with Charlie".

"Ya I guess so"

"Well they have the week to spend time together with their fans and eachother so don't stress" Soph said hopping off the wall and grabbing my hand. "The bells gone, come on".

The day actually went pretty good.The lessons were quiet easy and for music we got to go on the computers so I did and chatted with Charlie on Facebook. I got through the day without Lisa coming near me but I did get stares but I ignored them. Sophie took my mind off everything. Charlie said the possibility of them doing a UK tour was becoming more likely. I was really happy for him, I could tell how excited he was.

I invited Sophie back to mine for the evening. Neither of us had much homework and it would be nice to spend time with her outside school. We walked back to mine and neither of my parents were home. We spent the evening talking, we watched a movie and ordered in pizza. It was one of the best days i'v had since I got here. It felt like I was settling in.

"You play guitar"?? Sophie asked picking it up.

"Ahh ya just a little".I said shyly.

"Play" she said giving me the guitar.

"What,no"

"O go on Em play some of the song you have for music, I know you do I'v heard everybody go on about their songs and I know you must have some of it done by now" "O is this it?" Kiss Me ??"

"Ahh Ya that's the song"

"Play some, it can be my thank you from you for the weekend" she said.with a smirk. I knew I wasn't getting outof this.

"Ok fine just a bit"

I sang the part of the song I had done and I sang it with so much emotion. Everytime I sing I just get so wrapped up in the lyrics. I finished and looked up at Sophie. Her mouth was open.

"O my god Emma you are AMAZING, did you write that yourself it's perfect"

"Ya I did and thank you, honestly I want to be a musician, I want to sing and play my guitar all over the world, it's my dream" I said. "Is it stupid"?

"No Emma it's far from stupid, with that voice you deserve to sing, be huge, don't hide that voice, show it off, show people, let them hear you".

Sophie was right, I needed to make my dream happen. I made a youtube video just before I moved. It was a cover but I never posted it. But I am now. I posted the video but said nothing.

"Hey Soph wanna do a twitcam" I asked.

"YES !! I have always wanted to do one" she said excitidly.

I tweeted about the twitcam and the link. There probably wouldn't be alot of viewers but it was just for fun.

We started the twitcam and we had.over 100 viewers woah. It was really fun and Charlie logged on to watch it to and so did the other boys. They dared us to do Chubby bunny which nearly was a disaster because Soph nearly puked. We answered alot of questions and followed people. We were about to log off but I had to say something.

"Wait! Am before you guys go, I just wanted to say that I posted a Youtube video just before the twitcam of me singing and playing the guitar. I love music so much and I would love to do it for the rest of my life so i'm going to post the link after this and hopefully then you guys will watch it. Am if you like it give it a thumbs up and tell me what you think, thank you".

We said goodbye and logged off. I tweeted the link and then Sophie left. I decide to check the views and comments tomorrow. Just as I was about to go to sleep I got a text from Charlie. "its perfect babe im proud of you xx" Aww charlie.

"thank you babe Goodnight"
