*EMMAS POV*

It was so strange to be back in New York. It feels like I haven't been home in so long. I got a taxi from the airport back to my house. When I pulled up it seemed so different. I opened the front door and walked in. It was cold and seemed so empty. Most of our furniture Was still here. My mam wanted to buy new furniture for England. I went up to my room that was mostly empty. I missed my room so much. It's where I always felt safe where I wrote my music where I was happy. I checked my phone and my dad messaged me. I text him back and then checked my phone. I stopped getting calls and texts from Charlie, I guess he wanted nothing to do with me anymore. I did miss Charlie already. I missed his cuddles and his kisses and singing with him. No stop it Emma! Ok it's over. You need to get over him. But it's not easy. I keep thinking about him.

I decided to go to my favourite resteraunt. I loved all the staff and I knew all the regulars because I was one.

When I got there Hillary was working. Hilary is like my second mam. She is always there for me when I need someone. When she saw me walking towards her she ran around the counter and screamed my name. "O MY GOD EMMA YOUR HOME, WHAT ARE YOU DOING HOME WHAT HAPPENED O SWEETIE I HAVE MISSED YOU" She was yelling straight at me. I laughed at her screaming. It was nice to know she missed me. "I came back on my own just there about half an hour ago actually and I needed food" "well where are you parents? did England not work out?" "um actually I'm here on my own, I needed a break and missed home" I said looking down at the ground. Every time England is mentioned I just think of Charlie. "well that obviously has a story to it so I'm going to get you your usual and were going to talk about it ok" "thanks Hillary I really missed you yano". "I missed you to cupcake" she said kissing the top of my head and hugging me.

Hillary came back with my food. A chicken burger and extra chips and an Oreo milkshake. The best in New York in my opinion. It looked amazing. I dug in and after a few minutes I looked up and saw Hillary laughing at me. I realised I just ate half the meal without saying anything. "sorry" I said wiping my mouth. "Hun it's ok but something happened in England and you need to tell me" Hillary was so comforting, I did feel like I could tell her everything. "hill so much happened, I had a boyfriend I got new friends my dad is my best friend again my mam is now actually on my side girls in school hate me and an anonymous person keeps texting me trying to ruin my life" I rambled off in about 10 seconds. Hillary was in shock. "woah Em girl you have only been gone a month, and a boyfriend is mentioned in there why did you see was?" "Because something happened the night before I came here something that I'm sure made him hate me forever". "so what happened?" I told Hillary everything from Lisa to anon to Leo to Harvey. It felt good to tell her. She was so understanding. "Hillary what do I do now? do I stay do I go I I don't know how I feel" I said confused. "how about you stay for a while and maybe then you'll know if your heart belongs in Bristol or New York" I looked at her and nodded. where did my heart belong.

I left after a whole and called Amber. she was at my house in less than 5 minutes. I opened the door and she jumped into my arms. It was good to see her again.

*CHARLIES POV*

When I got back home to Bristol I instantly missed Emma. I couldn't just stop my feelings for her. When I got home my mum wanted to know what happened but I didn't want to tell her. thankfully she let me be. I got to my room and just lay on my bed sad upset angry. I saw something across the room. It was Emma's scarf. she always wore it everyday cold or warm. I picked it up and held it. I miss her and it kills me she's only a few houses away. I decided to go to the lake my special place but I knew it was going to hurt because it shared this special place with my girlfriend well ex girlfriend I think I don't know ahh it's frustrating. I got to the lake and started skipping stones and watched the blue water trying to think but I just couldn't. I say by the big tree where we always sat together. I want to talk to her again hold her again but I can't forget what she did.
