Chapter 29

Do I tell Charlie Do I not ? He told me to tell him. I guess I promised but I know he was going to go all protective boyfriend and as much as it was cute I didn't want it. When I got home my stomach started to turn and I felt sick. What if 'Anon' did telly my mam I went to Wales and London lying to her face. She would kill me.

"Em are you ok, you look really pale". Charlie asked his eyes filled with worry.

"ahh Ya ya I am i'm fine I just have a small headache that's all, need a goodnights sleep" I said not half convincingly but Charlie bought it but he also looked like he knew something was up.

"I better go inside".

"Ya sure see you tomorrow" I said and he kissed me. I kissed him back but pulled away quickly. I just couldn't stay out any longer. As I walked up the steps to my house I started to get more nervous.

I got in and my Mam was in the kitchen with a coffee and her paper. She had her serious serious face on. Crap she knows. I know she knows. Shit shit i'm dead. I am sooo dead.

"Emma your home".

"uh yeah I am and i'm exhausted so i'm just going to go to bed" I said walking quicly towards the stairs.

"Wait! your not going to your room just yet" I heard her say. I turned around slowly and she was standing up arms crossed. I was in soooo much trouble.

"I got a strange text message today, that I thought must have just been a joke or someone messing but then I was sent a picture of you and that boy in London!". "Care to explain how you were in London when you were in Sophie's or were you really in Sophie's".

She may have seemed calm but I knew one wrong move and she would explode. I decided to tell the truth, it had to be better than lying to her face again.

"Ok the truth is yes I was in London at the weekend with Charlie and the member of his duo and all of Blairs boys to be exact, and I had an amazing time".

"What and you just thought that I would never find out".

"Well yes I was hoping you'd never find out,but you know now and remember i'm telling you the truth".

"Emma I don't care that your telling me the truth now, you lied to me and your father, you disobeyed me and stayed seeing that boy and also travelled to london with strangers! Do you really think I was going to be ok with that!?".

"Stop. calling. him. That. boy." I said my teeth clenched. "His name is Charlie and I care alot about him but you wouldn't know that because you don't care and I may not have know all those guys then but I know them now and there my bestfriends".

"When are you going to stop this petty childish behavior Emma, it's getting old and i'm not going to say this again you are to stay AWAY from Charlie do you hear me. You will see him in school yes but you will come home straight after school everyday, and you are grounded for two weeks" she said getting angry.

"WHAT NO I AM NOT GOING TO STOP SEEING CHARLIE JUST BECAUSE YOU DON'T LIKE IT, YOU DONT CONTROL ME!". I was full on screaming at this point.

"AND NOW GUESS WHAT YOUR PHONE IS GONE ASWELL,HAND IT OVER".

We were both now having a full on screaming match.

"NOT A HOPE IN HELL ARE YOU GETTING MY PHONE NO WAY !!"

"HAND IT OVER NOW OR I'LL MAKE IT THREE WEEKS!!!".

"FINE GO ON THREATEN ME"

"DONT TEST MY PATIENCE EMMA"

"WELL IT SEEM LIKE YA GOT NONE BECAUSE YOUR SCREAMING".

"DON'T YOU DARE SPEAK TO ME.YOUNG LADY".

Before I could reply my Dad had come in.

"Hey what the HELL is going on I can hear you both from outside".

"Your daughter went to London at the weekend with boys and never told us and she is still seeing that boy" My mother said trying to get my dad on her side.

"Em is that true" my dad said and I could hear the disappointment in his voice.

"Yes it's true but I'm fine and nothing bad happened". I said trying to get my dad to understand.

"Ok Em your grounded two weeks no phone only when your in school incase of an emergency, now bed!"

I decided to take that punishment without pushing my look. Seeing my dad look at me like that made me feel disappointed in myself. He was hurt and I hated seeing that. When I got to my room I closed the door with a bang. My phone buzzed. New.message.

" so is lickle emma in trouble. This is only the start! What will Charlie think when he finds out you never told him about the message? Don't think you can get rid of me. Im going to make your life hell" ~ Anon"

I screamed out of anger and frustration. I threw my phone and when I picked it up there was a crack going across the screen. I sighed and then started crying. I was upset frustrated and angry. I sat on my bed and brought my knees up to my chest and cried and cried.
